It's not that black and white. Speaking as someone who suffers from the "I don't want to be a creep" syndrome pretty much every time I'm around people I don't know, it has nothing to do with my fear of rejection. I do have a fear of rejection, but I'm more than conscious enough of it to know it has no bearing on my fear of coming off as a creep. And then there's also just my shyness in general, which keeps me from wanting to talk to anyone I don't know, woman or man, attracted to or not. ...I have trouble with people.

To be fair, Unity's multiplayer is not the core experience. I'm fairly certain it's a separate bit of stuff, and there's still the usual single-player AC game in there. Unless I'm wrong! My point being that I'm not sure the comparison holds, as if you don't want to play the multiplayer stuff, you have something to fall back on. There's no single-player Dota! Although whenever they release their custom map tools, I have some ideas I'd like to try out. X: It's possible I completely misunderstood the intent of the comparison, because I am a dumb person! Yeah things like that are really dumb. I don't know why you can't just identify or repair as long as the guy/gal who does it is in your current party. I can understand restricting if they're off on their own, separated from the person holding the item, but... As far as bartering goes... I honestly wouldn't worry about it. You get so much gold it doesn't matter. Well... I'm speaking from the position of a in-game kleptomaniac, so that might not hold true for everyone.

It is the worst. Making generous use of the sorting options helped me a lot. I'd just throw any excess items all on the same person and then go from there. Not ideal, but better than nothing. Wish there was a hotkey to transfer items to different party members. Also at least you're playing after they added a quest items filter. I didn't even have that. ):

If the employer is unaware of that behavior, though, I don't think it's fair to hold the employer responsible. I find it hard to believe anyone could not be aware of that shit, though, just from a simple Google search. And even more offensive is the willful disbelief after asking for examples of shitty behavior and then throwing them out the window as if they're meaningless.

I can agree with it not being an inherent trait (and am, in fact, obligated to believe as such, because it is true). And certainly the distinction is worth making. Sometimes, though, it feels like people who point out the difference are doing so from the position of there being literally no relation between the two which is absurd and untrue.

If you are playing on Wii and have hacked it to set up Homebrew, there are some cheats you can activate to severely limit her annoyance factor. It doesn't stop some of the more egregious examples of hand-holding, but it will stop her beeping. It'll also stop every time you pick up an item for the first time during a play session EXPLAINING THE ITEM TO YOU AGAIN. You can also set the bird to always fly at maximum speed which I liked because I hated flying.

It's an incredibly common overlap, though.

Yeah that's also true. The contrast of an incredibly hand-holdy kind of game with that kind of puzzle that stands out and is really unique yet not really hinted at is... a contrast.

I think the only reason I knew to do it was because I had watched a demo of someone doing it. It is unintuitive, but only because video games have trained us for so long to not think outside of the box like that.

FWIW, they actually translated it pretty well, and I liked a lot of the voices they chose for the characters, etc. And they pretty much translated it frame for frame to anime. They might have skipped some stories to get to stuff like the and , which, BTW, what the fuck, that shit comes out of nowhere, but anyway. It's good. I think I just like the manga more because it feels better paced overall? The jokes hit a lot harder when I read compared to when I watch. Might be because I saw them coming in the anime, to be fair.

Yeah being pedantic about it doesn't really help all that much. They still for all intents and purposes AFK for the rest of the match. I mean shit I've done it before in the worst of games. But... so are the people I'm playing with, so I don't have to feel too bad. Though I do often do it alone at the very end when it's looking like we're about to get fountain camped, which happens in over half my losses, no joke, no exaggeration, I've kept a tally across the span of a couple weeks. It's not terrible when they actually kill the T4s beforehand, but that's almost never done. Anyway, I TP out to one of the little buildings just outside the base if it exists and smoke to the enemy jungle and farm so I wont' get an abandon while they stand outside the fountain and shove their shit down everyone else's throats. It's definitely fun and we always feel like we have a chance of making a comeback.
