I got; THQ Complete Pack -- S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl, Full Spectrum Warrior, Full Spectrum Warrior: Ten Hammers, Titan Quest, Titan Quest: Immortal Throne, Company of Heroes, Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War Gold Edition, Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War – Dark Crusade, Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War – Winter Assault, Company of Heroes: Opposing Fronts, Juiced 2: Hot Import Nights, Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War – Soulstorm, Frontlines: Fuel of War, Saints Row 2, Warhammer® 40,000™: Dawn of War® II, Red Faction: Guerrilla , Red Faction, Company of Heroes: Tales of Valor, Red Faction II, Warhammer® 40,000™: Dawn of War® II – Chaos Rising™, S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Ownership Check, World of Zoo, Metro 2033. Shatter Broken Sword 2 Broken Sword 3 Ben There, Den That / Time Gentleman Please! Double Pack Day of Defeat: Source Freedom Force / Freedom Force vs The Third Reich Was very tempted by Civ IV, but I don't think the gameplay is one that appeals to me - it didn't look like it anyway. I LOVE the concept, but eh... So yeah, if you want to add me to play any of the above + more http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561197976897691 To be completely honest, I mainly bought the THQ pack after Chris and Nick's lovings of Dawn of War II on the podcast. I only just started listening to IT a couple months ago, so it's all still fresh in my mind.

A friend of mine sold this to me the other day for £25, and although I'd usually avoid threads like this like the plague, it's brilliant how all fo you understand the workings of the spoiler button - it's great! So yeah, RDR. Wow. What an absolutely phenomenal game. I particularly liked one side-mission where I also highly recommend turning off the minimap when not doing highly scripted YOU MUST BE HERE RIGHT NOW missions. It makes the game feel so much more immersive - I love this game.

A better book is 'The Myth of... Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus". Written by a linguist (I believe), it takes a much more analytical approach to the things discussed, and is apparently a very good read. I haven't read it myself, but this year's English Language course dictates I shall - so I'll let you know then!

Thanks for this man. I started listening to it earlier today and although the rim-licking was a little off-putting at times, it soon settled down and became a really fascinating, very well done show. /approved

I thought about picking it up, but I've already bought a fair few other games, and I think L4D/2 will have to satisfy my Zombie multiplayer needs.
-
Flames before games man. Always.
-
Because Civ III doesn't have one at all and I basically wanted to cry when I played that game.
-
Right Thumbs, to any of you who own Civ IV - is there a tutorial mode of any kind? I'll buy it if there is, and I won't if there isn't. Thanks guys.
-
As usual with the STEAM sales, I'm waiting for the last day to tick around, and then buy everything I want to then. Just in case. You never know. Either way, I'm definetely buying the THQ pack and Broken Sword 2/3 later today.

*Jakes reads that post* "B-b-but, I designed that boxart /cry"

I'm actually very proud of myself, in that... Damnit. I was going to say that I haven't referred to a guide at all, but then I realised I did for the boss battle at the end of 302. Apart from that though, I'm proud of myself.
-
I'll definetely pick it up as soon as it hits Steam. Love me some Layton, love me some TTG... What's not to love?

Haha, that letter did make me laugh. Admittedly, I very rarely (if ever) put my phone to my ear anymore. I'm one of those douches who has his earphones in all the time, and uses the voice recognition built into the earphones to call people. Much easier for me, as I tend to be on the move when talking to people.
-
I don't know, I thought that one was pretty obvious, but I guess I got stuck on some other incredibly simple puzzles earlier, so I know exactly what you mean.
-
I actually enjoyed both a fair amount, although I began to get bored of "NYYYYYYYYYYYYYYGH" in the second episode.
-
That's the thing I found difficult about Civ III. It's just like; Choose your Civ Go.
-
Essentially, I want some sort of mode where it says "Ok. Step 1: Click this button and then this happens. Step 2: Now you've done that, you should do this" Plus, honestly, I'm tight. £6odd for Civ IV is better than £30 for Civ V. I don't mind intricacy, but I'm stupid and need handholding
-
Civ IV is now on sale - would people recommend it? Is it easy to get into? I bought Civ III recently and although I've tried playing it, without any form of apparent tutorial I'm just too confused - is Civ IV a little more user friendly?

Chris Remo's on Gamers with Jobs podcast

It kinda sounds like... Iiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiidle Thuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu-uuuuuuuuu-uuuuuuumbs. Games, video games, video games, video games, Videogaaaames, video games, video games, etc etc. It's pretty good. -
SpeedyDesiato. Haven't played my PS3 in a while, but add me and we can play Burnout Paradise. Best game on PSN by a long shout.

My wrist hurts. What's wrong with me? GOOGO. Seriously though, congratulations. A good friend of mine is looking to become a doctor, and I have absolutely no idea why. The amount of work seems an impossible task. Well done buddy.

Don't forget Dawn of War II.

http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561197976897691/ Add me as you wish! =)

I have to say, the last segment made me squirm a little. Still a fantastic show though.

Yeah, I pretty much cried when I saw Chris's tweet. Or rather, my wallet did.
