Nope, I used my Amazon UK account no hassle.
-
I pledged $30, because I really like HD quality video. /sigh.

Hah, if only. No, I found out some stuff as to what she's doing right now and it made me sad.
-
More stuff to do with the lady was uncovered today. I did not feel good. Not feeling entirely devastated though, which is positive!

Personally, and I say this is probably true for most people, I'd have to say that my exactness of writing only really improves with constant revisions. Altering the structure of a sentence usually helps too, because you can still get the same message across, but with fewer words. -- Constantly revising what you've written is the best method. Sentence structure alteration is helpful too. -- Constant revision and altering your sentences' structures are the best way.

Only as bad as me. (Also, yes, I do think it's hilarious. Not the subject matter, but subverting expectations etc etc)

Ahh, but it's funny. You'd want a girl who finds that funny, surely? If we're giving anecdotes from our days though, here's one from yesterday. Walking back to town with a girl from my lecture (not one I'm sexually interested in, hurrah for me!) and she said something along the lines of "You could always buy me some chocolate." (joke) I reply: "Well, there's a large range of things I COULD do, but there are an awful lot of them I don't plan on doing." "Like what?" "Well, killing you for example." Her face went white and shocked. "Oh, that's not that bad. My first thought was worse, be glad I didn't say that one out loud." "What could be worse than killing?" "I don't know, " Yeah, I don't know why I allow myself to talk sometimes.

Just come back from watching The Artist. The bit where I thought was particularly fantastic, as was the very end.

Well that's just made my day A WHOLE GODDAMN LOT BETTER RODI. THANKS, DICK. In other news, looks like I kinda HAVE to go training in the morning now eh? Jesus. (ps: i love you all and am actually in a pretty good place right now. I've been feeling relatively shitty in the past week about things that I've discussed in here before, but exercise has helped majorly )
-
Yeah, I can sympathise there. Sorry man
-
Exercise makes you feel better guys. Fact

You're a bigger man than I, Nach. Lord knows I would be - and in fact was - an emotional wreck were something like that to happen to me.

I've watched about 8 episodes of Arrested Development today (possibly more by the time this night is over) and it's getting better and better. Didn't think too much of it in the beginning, but this is getting really funny.

Hey I heard a really cool guy runs a really cool podcast here http://buriedinthecredits.com/

Or your great nephews/nieces, really. Not fussed.

Hey I got 66 in my first Summative essay at Uni, yay. (Admittedly would've been far happier with a first, but still. Mid-2:1 for my first essay is pleasing enough )

Hah! Oh goodness, isn't that the truth. Trust me, if you do pick up a sport, do a social one. Swimming at 7 this morning was painful. Keeping your face underwater gives you a lot of time for thinking

I can't offer advice, but I can offer sympathy. That's a goddamn tough situation there, buddy. I mean, you could try talking to her about it? Being completely honest and all that? That's what I like to think I'd do in that situation. Well, it's what I did in my situation, anyway. Life's easier when there's no confusion, in my opinion.

A new episode of my podcast Buried in the Credits is live. I happen to think this is a really strong episode. Nice and lengthy, and it's a good, comfortable chat. If you'd like to check it out, please do. Blog Post | Direct Download | iTunes Link

If you're too busy to read the book, listen to the original radio series. It's brilliant.
