I really enjoyed this cast. Don't often get to hear you guys just chatting about your stuff, it's great to hear the enthusiasm and friendly banter about ideas. Really, really great. Also, yay.

I thought some of the research Steve was doing for Gone Home sounded super interesting. That Asian family with the white guy patriarch and a completely abandoned house wtf.

Yeah. I mean, I don't disagree with you - completely my fault/inadequacy - but I do hope that the interview quality kinda made it up for it =)

I did. He did! I tried editing it in order to account for that, but 1) I'm not particularly good at editing, and I think I did a pretty good job in comparison to the original anyway, and 2) there are parts where our voices are the same level, and if I lowered mine any further, it would be the same problem just reversed.

I really didn't think the Law & Order episode was that great. It was good, but... But yeah, Modern Warfare is the best episode.

So wrong. Paintball episode(s).

Yeah, it's not as good as series past. That being said, the most recent episode was pretty good.

Exactly what brkl just said. Just tell your closest friends that you're feeling like shit, and that you want to be distracted. If they're good friends, they'll help you by distracting you CONSTANTLY.

Ah bless you, thanks so much! That means a lot. And yeah, you're right - at that point I was still pretty new to the whole 'recording live' thing and trying to figure out different ways of approaching audio glitches like that. Will definitely take what you've said on board though - hopefully in the future I'll be some sort of known quantity and people will actually give me a time/place wherein I didn't have to worry about that sort of thing anyway! (PS: If you'd like to be on a future episode when I'm back in London...) PPS: I'd also recommend checking out the Ben Bateman one. Although you may not have heard of him, he's a very cool guy and has some interesting stories to tell. Actually, all of the episodes have some really interesting stories in them. /honestplug

Infinite Monkey Cage is a Science/comedy radio 4 show, hosted by Brian Cox and Robin Ince + weekly special guests. Also, I kinda have an 'in' to both, meaning I'll definitely get into QI recording and will get to hang out with Stephen Fry afterward; same with IMC and Brian Cox...

I'd be really tempted for the BTTF trilogy. However, I think I'm going to a recording of either QI or the Infinite Monkey Cage that day... A beer may be possible, though!
