HERE IS A DISSER-TATION: I've noticed an interesting discrepancy between the two incarnations of Idle Thumbs. The original pod was complete lunatic fun. It was crazy, hilarious, off-the-wall, and also managed to contain interesting video game discussions. The new podcast is far less crazy and funny, with many jokes falling flat, and periods of dead time between tangents, and a bit of a limp feeling. However, the interesting discussions just got more interesting. Like the looooong discussion at the end of this episode about the craftsmanship of VDGMS. The difference between the two? Nick Breckon. Who never said anything. Strange.

That would explain it. All I have is a copy of FL Studios 9, and a cobbled together set of synth plugins and some drum machine samples. I'm curious: do you do any commercial work? Because what I've heard of your stuff is ace. EDIT: I can't believe that I just said "ace". I am ashamed.

I'm curious, what DAW and/or set of software did you use to make that? Also, you appear to be far better at this then me.

I don't really want to listen to this episode, because I would have to hear the sorry news delivered directly to my ears. I don't think I could handle that. This is one pod I don't want cast into my ear.

Does anybody have huge audio stuttering problems in the cutscenes? And noticing the game takes an age and a half to load? And lags hugely in the first minute and a half of every mission? Or is it just me?
