What's this duck collection thing all about then? They don't look very Christmassy right now.

Assassins Creed: Syndicate - knees up mother brown

I'm sure a good proportion of us will find it hard to shake the idea that the joke title is "Assassin's Creed Victory" even up to and beyond release.- 76 replies

The Business Side of Video (Space) Games EXCLUSIVELY ON IDLE THUMBS
Justin Leego replied to Henroid's topic in Video Gaming
I wonder how Steam is monitoring that sort of thing. Surely not just by relying on user reports? -

Has anyone else encountered and/or solved this? I'm having problems with the forums when using both Firefox for Android and Firefox for Windows desktop (but not Firefox for Windows on its own). When I select Mobile Thumb view on Android, the forums also default to mobile view when I'm accessing them from desktop. But when I then open a thread on Android, it then displays in Full Version view. In that view, pressing Quote to reply isn't practical as the text input box doesn't have enough room to display. Using the Reply To This Topic form doesn't work either, as the Post button is unresponsive. On Firefox for desktop, quoting does work, but renders the quote's timestamp twice (see here). I guess that the combination of my browser choice and forum view preference is being saved server-side and that's what's causing problems?

But where do Ewoks come into the whole Space [Marine] Dwarves thing? I suppose they are excluded from laser weapon use, tree huggers that they are.

That's a going to the nearest IMAX multiplex to watch Jurassic World face. -
Yep! Worth it for that alone, I'd say. There's a Sonic and All Stars Racing Transformed multiplayer thread around here somewhere...

Yes, much improved, according to Randi herself: (https://np.reddit.com/r/GamerGhazi/comments/2lfc1b/ggers_tried_to_get_the_creator_of_the_twitter/clui1n1?context=3)

Why not "Obtain"? -
When you've got the fever, anything is possible. Really it's just that I can't post to Idle Thumbs from Firefox for Android when it defaults to Full Version. (If I switch to Mobile Version it also switches me on desktop Firefox, even though I don't have syncing turned on?)

"Surely it can't be that long until a piece of wearable technology will be able to tell when its owner is temporarily judgementally impaired as a result of illness or blood alcohol poisoning, and then moderate its wearer's online interactions as a result, perhaps with a short text warning or even a block. I mean you can't always tell if you're coming down with something but a fever or virus can still alter the way you behave, sometimes quite substantially" I wrote that last night after spending the day being sick, but my browser wouldn't let me post.

Accompanying that sentiment (I didn't rate it that highly either), I have heard some developers speak very highly of AC1 in relation to its sequels, on the basis that it allowed for the most freeform play situations -- triggering guards, escalating the AI response, attempting to escape, very much a GTA cops vs character affair. It's massively anecdotal of course.

Three poavenues occur to me, but then I haven't spent Investigative Journalism amounts of time looking into it: 1. Yes, there's an 8chan sub dedicated to it. It's the name of a browser extension project being developed by that Twitter user, intended to allow extension users to comment over sites and articles that otherwise might moderate those comments, enabling the circulation of "truthful" conversation. Resentment over Wikipedia's treatment of the situation appears to be the main motivator. Why is it called "littlecaesar"? Two associations that spring to mind: 2. A slang term for someone who is a bossy boots, a miniature dictator 3. There is a US-based pizza chain called Little Caesars - I believe at one point there was a Quinn-related joke about whether a pizza restaurant analogy might be more appropriate than a burger joint reference. I didn't find any evidence of that during a quick search so may have been imagining it. Was it in the various chat room logs? In related news I was a bit surprised to see a Kotaku write-up slating India's policy towards obscene material, I'm sure Nathan Grayson didn't mean it this but it could be read as saying "this is a backward country because it doesn't allow sexually permissive material as part of interactive entertainment." Which I thought was a bit reactionary. But I can understand why compassion levels might be drained at this time. http://kotaku.com/ea-says-india-wont-get-dragon-age-inquisition-due-to-o-1659754229 Continued caveating: I'm entirely ready to accept that my understanding of the nuances of cultural relations between the US and India could do with rounding out a little more. That's probably a big chunk of it. I apologise for massive amounts of naïvety on my part, really I'm posting this because I'd appreciate a bit more context.
