As someone who shamefully listens to clips of old IT jokes, I was happy to see the return of Drop Zone starring Bobby Kotick.

These Spelunky streams are outstanding for seeing how absurd talking about the game sounds out of context (as Nick mentioned). Some highlights from the most recent stream include: "Woah, fuck, it's a frog!" "Throw me the dog." "I hate that big bee so much!" "I've never done the worm before."

Loving the style so far! This game has exceeded expectations from the old Amnesia Fortnight pitch video. I can't wait to read Lieutenant Olaf von Space Face Ace's Spaceface in the SpaceBase!

I haven't seen anything about that game, but if it's anything like Moonbase Alpha it would be a blast. Makes me wish they could have streamed Moonbase Alpha in it's prime. Now it would either be empty or just dudes mimicing that one Youtube video.

I can't wait for Terminator 2: Part 2: Vengeance, where Danny Dyson goes on a gun-rampage againt NeoCyberDyne Inc. (after the company flees to a utopian colony orbiting the earth). At the climax he cuts off a guy's hand with a katana and it falls onto the self destruct button, destroying the space colony and all the Terminator data. Afterwards, wreckage of the colony crashes into New York City, and turns Danny's sister into a flaming skeleton. Judgment Day is inevitable.

Oh Christ. So much turmoil brought on by Breckon's impulsiveness. Congrats Nick. (Congrats Nick). Never stop playing weird strategy games for the internet, Thumbs.

Ragnar Rising, Reckoning, Absolution

Hah, I'm honored. Hopefully those events in the Ragnar Recap are mostly correct. It was from memory and I was a few drinks in. Looking forward to the continued adventures of King Sean Vanaman.

I would totally go to a BarCraft (Barmin?) of the Pikmin 2 International. And then eat Olimar's Weiner. But seriously, stream more Pikmin 2 Multiplayer.

I felt the same about the Nintendo direct. As someone who's kinda ignored most of the Wii/DSi era, at lot of the stuff they showed looked really fun, specifically Mario 3D World (+ Cats). Even Smash Bros has me a bit hooked. I feel Villager and Wii Fit lady are the perfect tone for the original game's concept (What if Link could punch Pikachu). When they started adding Dr. Mario, Sonic, and niche Fire Emblem characters it just got weird. Even the Megaman reveal was hilarious since it's so loyal to the NES aesthetic. I caught myself grinning multiple times throughout the video. Maybe Nintendo's on the rise again?

The Swapper always reminds me of The Zapper. Specifically, in that zany tone that Jake used when he mentioned The Zapper on some past cast. Maybe I listen to too much Thumbs.

Glad to see the encoding is back to normal. No more heart skipping a beat when my media player shows a 4 hour podcast! As someone who fell down the Dark Souls hole a couple months ago, I'm really looking forward to any impressions or humorous anecdotes.

As someone who re-listens to the Thumb back catalog somewhat often, I really got a kick out of those "GULP!"s at the end. Classic Gaynor.

I guess this is the end for super-nerdy episode number jokes. Maybe a Lotus 123 joke can fit in there in half a year.

Reciever is pretty neat! It just feels really good once you've adjusted to the mechanics. When you pick up some bullets off the ground, and you can seamlessly remove the clip, holster the gun, load the ammo, and replace the clip without breaking stride, it kind of feels awesome. If only I was better at shooting at robots... Podcasts have been really good at making me impulse buy cool games I've never heard of lately.

Halo ODST is definitely the game that makes me most sorry I don't have an Xbox. I really could not care less about the Master Chief Power Fantasy Saga. Heck, I'd upgrade to Windows 8 for a PC port!

Pretty shocked and excited about the QuakeCon panel. I had long given up seeing any live panels that aren't located near an ocean. If it doesn't live up to the hype I'm going to be so disappointed!
