I only played bits of 1/2, finished brotherhood. But all the future/scifi bits completely pulled me out of the game, and anytime a desmond section came up I was desperately wanting a skip option, because I gave none of the fucks about that stuff.

Didn't mean to imply terminator 1 was bad, just he wasnt enjoying it. It's been years since I've seen it, though I know I enjoyed T2 more, and if you can't get through T1 for some reason, T2 does more or less cover the happenings of the first. Related, I only watched a bit of the tv show, but I really dug the last half or so of the last season. Enjoyed the big question it raised at the end, even if they didn't get to explore it.

This happens to me too, but weirdly only at home. My room is like a black hole of productivity, sucking it all into nothing. Anywhere else, not a problem. I imagine it could spread if I got a laptop, part of why I don't get one. Otherwise I'm just browsing stuff on my phone, which somehow never cuts into anything I may need to do outside of my house. Also related, I've gone to the point of uninstalling all my games temporarily so I have less distraction from school stuff.

If anything dishonored pretty much asks you to choose between bad and bad when it comes to the targets. Your only real choice is not murdering guards. You're not wrong about games not really handling morality well, but I never really felt like dishonored was trying to tackle that problem at all.
