Usually you can self-refer, unless your medical coverage requires you be referred by your doctor. When I've asked docs for a referral the doctor has asked me if I have a doctor in mind and, if I didn't, suggested someone. If you're in Canada, I bet there's a helpful website that will tell you whether you need to be referred for mental health treatment. If it works like in the USA and you don't want to bother with health coverage you can probably self-refer and pay out of pocket.

Unfortunately I can't find anywhere that can do my idea (take a digital image, print and frame it and add a plaque). Small stretch: Small Nick canvas - 10" h by 8" w: $30 + s/h. I can increase the size of this if we pass $30, up to our... Big stretch: Kotick/Allard diptych. The smallest size diptych available is 2 x 24"h by 18"w, and that's $125 without s/h.

If we go over by another $200, I can get a second one with a plaque, but the one I already ordered doesn't have a plaque and canvaspop doesn't offer them. Blambo: Nick basically looks like John Q Video Games. Which is odd, since Jake is Video Games, so Nick looks like John Q Jake Rodkin? (Nick is quite a normal looking white guy with brown hair and is of medium build and height.) In a previous edit I suggested Nick had brown eyes, but shammack (my husband) disagreed, saying Nick has blue eyes, and then - and this is the scary bit - said

Don't fret, Tycho. The gift note will go to some outlandish combination of names to properly identify the recipient and allow for package reconciliation. The order form doesn't allow for such specifics. We're 95% pledged/funded for the cost of the item (including my own contribution)! All in less than a day! I am so IGN.com by this!! As I've already placed the order, any amount we go over will end up going to a separate purchase. I will happily elaborate on my plans for that later. Please keep your fingers crossed that PayPal don't decide to freeze my account because these payments are "suspicious activity" or some bullshit.
