I would imagine their main point with that is the fact that it's more interactive than watching it done in a film

It always struck me as censorship in America always seemed a bit more lenient on violence than in the UK but we're a bit more lenient with sex scenes than they are. So the bottom line, does this game involve boobies?

I hate to admit it though but yesterday I was thinking I'd probably pick this game up some day but there was no real rush behind it. Now though, since it's been banned in my country, I really really want it, almost urgently, and I don't really know much about it. Still hoping it'll be available in other European countries with English translations a la Rule of Rose.

So I finally got my USB Wifi thing and... Mario Kart 360857 303296 Final Fantasy III 047346 222344 I've had FFIII for ages now but never had the Wifi working to unlock all the extra stuff so if anyone would be willing to send me messages a couple of times I would be very, very grateful

I think out of the N64 ones up there about the only one I didn't have was Lylat Wars. Worth getting? Oh, and can you save your progress in the older games a la the autosave thing in the Sonic Collection or is it a case of leaving it running?

Well when I get my Wii (which is possibly this Sunday...) I was going to make a "Must have VC games" thread like the PS2 one we had and... the other one (Gamecube?) but this looks as good an opportunity as any... So, including the blindingly obvious, what should I spend any and all Wii points on?

First the PlayStation Portable became a camera, and now Sony has announced that it will also become a mobile phone. A four-year deal between Sony and UK-based telecom company BT will enable wireless broadband communications on the PSP, which will mean users can use their handheld to make "high-quality" video calls and voice calls, and send text messages. The partnership will integrate BT broadband video and voice "softphone" products into the PSP. Over the following months, features will also be added to enable calls and messages to PCs, fixed lines, and mobiles. Sony said it is also working with BT and other communication providers to bring the service to France, Germany, Spain, and Italy. The service will first be rolled out in the UK. SCEE president David Reeves commented, "The opportunity to combine our market-leading expertise with BT's knowledge in communications opens up many possibilities, and we look forward to bringing many exciting communication functions to PSP fans." -- Gamespot Call me cynical and everything but, shouldn't they be more concerned about getting games out for their existing consoles as opposed to making add-ons that about 80% of their target audience won't use?

Yeah futuristic maybe, I just never really understood the point of video messaging

As many of you may or may not know, Square Enix recently announced that they were remaking Final Fantasy IV for the DS, thereby ruining my plans of buying them all for the GBA. Now, if it's a success, which it undoubtedly will be, we'll most likely see remakes of V and VI as well as a possible I and II since they started with III after all. We've already seen that the DS is capable of replicating N64 standard graphics with a little extra sparkle but just how powerful is it? Could it be stretched to churn out PS1 style graphics? What I'm getting at here in a sort of round about way is, could we one day see a remake of FFVII on the DS or is it just not that capable?

But again with smaller screens the quality wouldn't be so much of an issue, right?

There was only really one FMV in FF3 I think, right at the start. Maybe one at the end I don't really remember. But they're more what I meant as opposed to the more in-game graphics

It's kind of an old and predictable thing to say but I'm playing Final Fantasy VI at the moment for GBA and really digging it. I only played number 3 on the DS before that (none of the SNES versions or the PS/PS2 versions) so it's still pretty much all new to me. Plus, it's the last 2D one so that's gotta mean something to you.

What is the worst game you've ever player? I don't mean frustrating, glitchy or anything technically wrong with it like controls or whatever but just what is, in essence, a terrible game. Mine would have to be Earthworm Jim 3D. After the first two masterpieces (well, the first one was good...) it was such a letdown. The badly cobbled together plot and flimsy, repetitive gameplay looked more like a movie spinoff cash in except it didn't even has that to redeem itself with. I remember being particularly annoyed that they made up new bad guys and pretended like they'd been there all along, that was just dumb. So yeah, either that or that South Park racing game for the 64

Some of those reviews are from 3 years ago though, wouldn't you think that maybe they'd have to sort themselves out by now? Surely one of them would have successfully complained, no?
