Localization is really a poor excuse for delays.

I used screenshots to make a collage and I have that on my second monitor.

That's really awesome

If I compare to what I've accomplished during my recent commercials years to my academic and educational years, I get sad.

(was going to post this in "books", but I thought it was more fitting here) I rarely ever read books. Am I broken? I do think I read quite a lot, but it's rarely fiction. I think I blame school for reading lists, despite that I more or less could read anything I'd like (as long as I could justify it). But... is it worth reading fiction? Is faction actually faction, or just fiction is theory's clothing?

The Dancing Thumb (aka: music recommendations)
elmuerte replied to Wrestlevania's topic in Idle Banter
http://www.gamemusicbundle.com/ Maybe the awesomest bundle so far, features all Fezes, FTL, Monaco, and a shit load of other musics. -
I will pledge another $10 for Idle Thumbs to do what they feel like doing, it worked so far. I will pledge $10,000 if it gets rid of timezones so that I can enjoy their evening streams when I'm not sleeping.

Time to start planning Grant Th5ft Thumbs

I think so. I haven't tried it yet.

Kickstart the 5th microphone Nah, I think 4 people is the max, otherwise it becomes quite difficult to follow everybody. And it's not that difficult to arrange for somebody to break a leg.

The Swapper Just finished it. The lack of game progress chievos was quite nice as I had no idea about my progress. Just a little after the puzzles became tedious I finished the game. So, the length was quite good. I finished it in more or less one sitting, so about 3 hours of gameplay. The game mechanic of cloning etc. is worked out quite well, and the puzzles are quite ok, some of them really require some thinking. I really dig the graphical style of the game, the RGB distortion is quite nice. I don't think I can name anything I would have done differently, or things I thought simply sucked. So, if you like platform based puzzle games, this is a really good one.

bitmap isn't easy; it's backwards, the last line is first in the file.

Stealth Bastard Deluxe Reach the exit without getting killed, seams easy enough. There are quite some different hazards that can kill you, lasers, crushing walls, drones. As the name suggests, stealth is an important factor in completing the levels. In general the game's difficulty was good, it was challenging, but never impossible. There were a couple of quite difficult levels which involved good timing. But luckily, when you're killed you don't always have to restart the whole level. Levels, or segments therefor, either have to be completed by a bit of puzzling, or timing (only a few cases when you had timed puzzles). Each set of levels is ended by a "boss battle", the difficulty of these are usually the same as the previous levels, and don't require you to apply new techniques.

60% of the time, it works every time.

Statistics, with the same numbers you can say different things.

He, don't worry about Saint's Row 4's over-the-top-ness. They just did this: http://www.rockpapershotgun.com/2013/08/10/why-not-saints-row-4-gets-1-million-special-edition/ A SR4 copy for only $1,000,000.00

Well... that didn't go as well We cleared only 1 level (after 2 tries). The SS-HD games are really much more difficult than SS3 is.
-
Lost again This game is quite challenging, they keep adding more things to check. If you don't clear at least 10 people a day you don't earn enough money.

I obeyed the law and got arrested ... game over.

I am. So 19:00 UTC?

Is that the reason you have a staging area or acceptance environment?

Are we forgetting that there has been days for podcast spend on Far Cry 2 and Far Cry 3, it's no hipster European stuff. (whatever that may be). I'd like IdleThumbs to discuss all everything. But in they end they are just like the rest of us, and might not try some games because of something that puts them off. btw, anybody played Far Cry 3 Blooddragon and Saints Row 3? How do they compare?
