Not just fighters. Could also be pikmin, or some racing games.

Idle Explorers (Spelunky, um, thumbs)

Maybe you should drink more often, you did quite well. -
It's not IQ you have to worry about, it's reflexes. It's best to play hot-seat versus games with others which are also drunk.

I have no idea what that means. I haven't even seen what's after the jungle.

looks drunk

Scriblenuats Unlimited I'm probably not the target audience The game is rather tedious, it's just typing a word to solve a single thing over and over again. Quite often the solutions to the problems are the same. New worlds just offer the same stuff, and there is little else to do except guessing the right word. Journey of a Roach Picked this up in the Daedalic humble bundle. It's a short (about 2 hours) adventure game where you play a roach and you have to help your friend. It's the standard adventure game logic of finding and applying inventory items. It's not very complicated. The only special thing is that you can walk on walls and ceiling, which is often needed. It's a mostly because of the fact that I almost had an hour of entertainment for a very small pricetag. I wouldn't pick it up at 15 euros, or even 5. So, get the deadalic bundle while you can. You need to pay at least $6 to get this game.

I post this video in shame: I didn't know you were not allowed to put bombs in the store :/ Either way, I fucked up a lot of things. According to my overview Patrick did good. I think you show up as $0 when you're still playing it? -
I've made like $25 selling steam trading cards. Soon I can stop working and simply sell Steam trading cards. But first I have to move to a place where earning $50 per year provides a comfortable living environment.

New record, reached 2-3. But why did it have to be a dark level. The jungle is already way too difficult for me. Seeing the ending of 2-3 in the above streams I'm sure I wouldn't have made it anyway. I did make a lot of mistakes in this run, I'm actually amazed I got so far. -
What does it tell us? http://moviegalaxies.com/movies/809-The-Terminator ... Reese is not connected to The Terminator?

Apparently it's run by true LEGO fans. This is one of their creations which is/was in their store: http://www.123website.nl/playtoday/

In 2005 Jacobs mortgaged his home to buy a virtual asteroid for US$100,000, being the most valuable virtual item ever sold at that time.[9] The next day, he got an offer to sell the asteroid for US$200,000, but he refused. The asteroid space resort was named Club Neverdie after its owner's avatar name.[10] In 2010 Jon Jacobs sold the Asteroid Space Resort to various other Entropia Universe participants for a total of 635,000 US$.[11] http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jon_Jacobs_%28online_personality%29

I'd love to be there when they reveal where in those 6 figures the point is.

I knew you didn't mean "LEGO cards", it's just my kind of humor to take advantage of language ambiguities. Those are some really tiny Ninja Turtles A couple of months ago I found out that there's a dedicated LEGO store in the city I live in, I still haven't visited it. I'm still not sure if I want to return to LEGO. I more or less said goodbye to LEGO once I got access to a compiler.

gotta love this audio visual porn of showing the backsides of devices

w.t.f. $38,000 for a virtual item!?

Gross. But I understand the need for it. LEGO simply has too much competition from non-creative toys. They need to spread to remain a viable business. I really think parent should by LEGO (or similar creative toys) for their kids, but they rather give them dumb video games.

The Business Side of Video (Space) Games EXCLUSIVELY ON IDLE THUMBS
elmuerte replied to Henroid's topic in Video Gaming
MS' money comes from business software and trolling. They earn billions per year from Android alone. I also include OEM licenses in "trolling" due to the MS OS tax on new computers. -
I think it's much more fun to figure out the rules while playing. I've been playing a bit of Pinball Arcade today. It's quite good, much much much much better than Pinball3D. Of course virtual pinball is never the same as the real deal. But the fact that Pinball Arcade rebuilds actual pinball machines is great. Also, pinball is a game which really can trigger rage in me. Instant death is so easy with pinball. It's really infuriating. I'm not sure if I'm going to buy any extra tables for Pinball Arcade... it's sort of quite expensive. Then again, for 27 euros you get like 15-20 tables. I've put much more money in real pinball tables.

Ha. Unlike you idiots. I had my best daily challenge run so far. I reached 2-2 \o/ I don't think I ever got that far. Just like hammerpants I wasted a sacrifice on a compass which was also in a box a little further down the level. I also sacrificed the idol to get a gold pooping monkey. I'm pretty sure that was a waste. I'm still not good at the whole tool and gear usage. -
Obligatory Comical YouTube Thread II: The Fall of YouTube

Do we have an "Obligatory Comical Game Journalism Thread"? -
The run for polygons is long gone. If you've watched any PR material from Epic in the last couple of years it's how little polygons you they use to show awesome things. There's more focus on doing more with less content. My favorite of doing more with less is the Bulletstorm "1 bald guy for many enemies" concept. As old UNIX people used to say "less is more".
