Spreadshirt is ok'ish. It's better than CafePress. I once ordered some shirts from the (now defunct) idlethumbs spreadshirt shop and the print lasted for a couple of years (this includes going through a dryer). The shirts are still in good condition, the print is just wearing out. I've been wearing those shirts quite regularly. The quality really depends on the material and printing style you pick. The "cheap" solution results in cheap results. Photo printing on shirts is pretty much always shit (no matter where you do it).

The "what the crap was that game called again?" thread
elmuerte replied to BadHat's topic in Video Gaming
It's because of word indexing ignoring "small" words. Use google fu if you want to search for smaller things. -

Why would I turn of a shell server. I've been idling on various IRC servers for 10+ years in 10+ channels.

Idle Explorers (Spelunky, um, thumbs)

I can relate, my 1st jan was absolutely terrible. 2nd of jan wasn't much of an improvement. The moment I hit the fire button I know I did something stupid. At least I died in the jungle and not on 1-2 -
Mein Thumbcraft—IdleT Dedicated Minecraft Server

Nope, it's quite vanilla -
I've heard of the Kapala... but I have no idea what royal jelly is. Playing once per day doesn't help in figuring out all the little things in the game.

#idlethumbs? you mean on twitch? that's one of the benefits of using IRC

PC gaming is niche!? A market that is larger than either console market segment is niche?

Doesn't look realistic. Health 14?! yeah right.

I fought that cube, and won. Legend of Grimrock is still on flash sale right now.

I finally completed a map of the area around the city on max zoom mode. Bad news, no jungle anywhere near the city, and only snowy peaks. There's a clone of the map in the community house. -
Ugh... I hate perforce. It's really shit for remote workers. when syncing it updates the meta data of synced info after a given amount of files. So if you have to sync a lot of large files and the connection breaks (which is does often in perforce) you have to restart the sync from the last point the meta data was updated on the server. This was really annoying while doing work for Epic and Tripwire having to resync huge files over and over again. I usually resorted to writing a script to sync large files one at the time and with lower priority. Then again, I don't know any other RCS which has the same level of control for non-source code repositories.

Damn it, but computers have become really complicated

hmm... I thought it was possible in Windows 7 to move the home directory. But it looks like it's only possible for special folders like "My Documents" and "My Downloads", or at least in a nice way. How dumb. -
Dishonored Witches Of Something Just in time before getting dishonored tired. The best thing about the 2 DLC for Dishonored is that it comes full circle with the main game. This DLC is just like the other DLC more of the same of Dishonored, just a few more missions. And right now, I'm tired of the dishonored gameplay, so it's great that everything is wrapped up. Sadly I wasn't able to ghost the DLC, apparently I alarmed someone somewhere. Also, in the prison I received credit for a prisoner being killed because I opened his door. That's rather lame.

Spend today: 1) installing an SSD and making it the system disk (i.e. migrating the system to the SSD) 2) replacing my iPhone4s iOS6 with iPhone5s iOS7 1) I did prepare old system disk to be small enough for the smaller SSD so I only had to copy the partition and get windows running again. The last part took most of the time because windows is a PITA if you just copy a partition. So far the only thing I really noticed is the lack of noise. Windows boots quicker to the login screen, but that's made just 2 seconds instead of 5. Logging in still takes quite a while, but after that applications do start much faster. But I can't say I'm really noticing it. Anyway, I found out that this new Dell XPS case sucks, it wasn't as flexible as my previous XPS. So right now the SSD is screwed in with just one screw. Should be ok enough. I didn't buy a cradle for it, because I assumed a laptop disk could easily be mounted in this case (like it could with my old XPS case). But it turns out this case only has screw holes on the right places for big disks. Ah well.... So, now I more or less have my whole system on the SSD. But I don't like that much, I think. I have a Samsung 840 EVO which should technically should have a 10+ year lifespan with normal desktop write activity. But I wonder, should I go through the trouble of moving my home dir to the HDD? (and how would I do that). I am moving my DEV stuff to the HDD (100GiB worth of disk images doesn't work well on the SSD). 2) (it's a company phone, not mine) So what's the selling point of the iPhone5s!? It's just a bit long and a bit thinner... but other than that?! I do dislike iOS7 a lot. It looks fuck ugly, the animations are really annoying (even with "motion reduced"). And a lot of standard applications have an even worse UI (for example, the calendar). -
depends on the font size I guess

I think you can. I've been mostly playing dailies, and I've unlocked a bunch of characters. Especially the guy you unlock for beating the game, I only beat the game once, and this was during a daily.
