I was doing ok, but decided to check out what the worm level was. I don't think I will do that again.

According to Wrestle during yesterdays grand thumb auto your character can be drunk in GTAIV. Anyway, I once made a small mod for UT2004 called Capture The Beer. Instead of flags you had to steal a crate of beer from the other team, but while carrying you would consume the beer (the score for getting the bare back to the base was determined on the number of bottles left). Given the short timeframe I had the only effect was messing with the mouse input. The drunker you were the worse your mouse movement would become (using a simple sine wave). I was planning to add more effects like accelerate quick movements and falling down when moving too fast. There have been a bunch of games with drunk effect, but I can't recall them right now.

I first tried to get to the worm level thingy, but I didn't know I had to jump into the mouth or something. So then I decided to go to the mothership. But I had no idea how to get out of that one (Also I forgot I had sticky bombs). Also, the jungle levels were quite horrible. 2-3 had a terrible opening, and 2-4 was even worse.

I encountered a new foe in the ice caves today. Jungle didn't go very well for me, but a frog saved me from big fall.

Great idea on the dialog disappearing. You should also make the other person angry when you walk away during a conversation. So half way through the text the guy would stop and the text would be replaced with "He!... I'm talking to you". And when you come back he continues, or if you won't he will become disgruntled. You should make the inventory more physical. Like, you can fit small things in the pocket of your pants and jacket. But larger things should go in a suitcase which you actually have to carry with you. You can leave the suitcase behind, but then you won't have access to that inventory. Also, I approve of the new impromptu logo.

Just going to say it. Programming is great, it's fun, it's often challenging. More people should not do it.

Planning sucks. Everytime I take vacation people ask me if I have anything planned. I prefer to do what ever the fuck I feel like when I'm on vacation (i.e. not-working). For this reason I usually don't have anything to do in weekends and stuff. So if my friends do plan things I often have time, if I feel like doing that is a different thing. ps, a gaming lodge sounds great.
