"We like to think that objectivity is our job, not your job!" Nice one -
My mission, if I choose to accept it, which I did: unlock the ice cave shortcut by bringing a shotgun: I used the jungle shortcut; got lucky and found the black market which I successfully raided. Also, check out my daring move at 7:14 Of course after unlocking the ice cave shortcut I kept forget about my shitload of bombs and climbing gloves.

I finished SP, or at least I got the achievement for it. But it looks like it's never ending. I thought those color changing characters had something special, but it's simply to indicate that there's no decision on the character's color. I didn't really recognize any differences in AI, but I probably haven't played enough of it yet.

The game didn't really capture me initially. But now I've completed act 1 I'm intrigued. Also, I found a psychonauts reference: the smelling salt.

Ugh... died on spikes in 1-2, really stupid -
Just because you're are in your right to do so doesn't mean you cannot be sued. The case was settled out of court, so no judgement was made. Also, apparently Nyan Cat and Keyboard Cat are registered trademarks(!?), which requires active protection. But trademarks only applies to cases when it's used for commercial gain and dilution of the product name. For example, "Scribblenauts: Nyan Cat Edition" would not be allowed, or using the graphic representation on promotion material. These battles rarely go to court because of the price-tag involved. They went after WB because they had dollar signs in their eyes. I think they would probably have lost the court case, but the court case would have cost WB more than they had to pay the creators.

Tried to play against Cine today, for me it was smooth, but Cine said it was unplayable. Given that it's quite twitch based game the big pond between me and Cine isn't helping.

I just finished the first part of the boy's story, I think.

From what I played this game doesn't violate copyright. Sure, the media companies might think so, but having a small reference to Star Wars or Futurama isn't a copyright violation (not unless you explicitly lift art from the creation rather than making your own). Unepic simply tries to play on the geek culture and thus references a lot to geek culture. The ending as Twig describes is in bad taste though, totally unnecessary.

then steal a copy of your local PC game store

the ground texture has a high detail
-
the sky and water texture looks weird, especially with the high detailed ground

Yes, that's a usual bug in a lot of "benefit" constructions. When you put it in a graph you usually see a "saw tooth" in the line rather than a straight line.

I think They Live would have been worse if it didn't star Roddy Piper (and Keith David)

In the Netherlands we have a social healthcare system. But what appears to be the case is that lower educated people make more claims than higher edicuated people. So there is a company that offers a health care plan for higher educated/employed people with a high discount on the basic coverage (I have my plan with them). Everybody in the Netherlands is required to get basic healthcare (and if you don't earn enough, you get a government rebate). So you pay at least 70 euro'ish per month on healthcare, and thus making it workable for all. Of course, if you don't earn a lot (i.e. below nominal) you get money back from the government. (There's a similar thing for rent, being a parent, etc. etc.) But there are the figures, a health plan for highly educated people, who earn more, can be lower because they claim less. It's not like these highly educated people are actually healthier, they just complain less and only go to the GP when there's really something wrong.

Btw... The Mist is a lovecraftian. So if that's you're thing, then there's other stuff: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lovecraftian_horror#Film_and_television And although not really actually lovecraftian, I can recomment The Poltergeist.
