What about all those flaming bodies in the towers in the oblivion gates. They couldn't have missed that. Anyway, I think either ESRB is full of it or they dropped the ball. I think Bethesda was surprised when they received the T rating.

I also recently finished the main quest... now those damn annoying gates are gone I can finally continue with some more interesting things (e.g. getting export merchant skills in order to be able to invest in stores.. whatever that may be). btw, is it just me or are the oblivion dungeons even less interesting than the morrowind dungeons. And I still feel way to limited in the the last two TES games.

Maybe, but at the cost of freedom. Currently I'm trying to complete the main quest just to make those damn oblivion gates to stop appearing. After 20 gates is get's quite boring.

That's not true, it was always possible to beat all bosses with any combination. There are only one point in the game where your team selection really made a difference. And that's right before you get captured by the comic super villain Rictus. In this case you get different levels to play depending on the characters you selected. Just too bad part two of the story was never created.

Yes. The fact remains that Duke Nukem 3D is loaded with spoofs and references. For example those slimey aliens from those pods are is a quite direct reference to Alien. Couldn't have known that "shit" quote came from Full Metal Jacket...

"Hail to the king" and "come get some"... ok, those... but there are much more oneliners in duke3d and those are not from army of darkness. For example "your face, your ass, what's the difference" or "It's time to kick ass and chew bubble gum. And I'm all out of gum. " or "I'll rip your head off and shit down your neck! "

"That's one doomed spacemarine" ? A lot of Duke's oneliners are based on onelines from various movies (just like a lot of levels in duke nukem)
