  2. Zero Punctuation

wow... so it really is crap?
  3. Double Fine

that doesn't rule out Pyschonauts 2, just that the "coming soon" referred to a page for P1.
  4. How to best explain Brutal Legend to your friends...

In either way, he at least got the T-Shirt. Maybe it's was a bribe: "We need your input for a rock action adventure game, and in return you'll get a t-shirt".

Super Paper Mario review is up
  6. This website is... UNTRACEABLE

smart people would use something in the 10.0.0.0/24 172.16.0.0/12 or 192.168.0.0/16 range dumb people will use addresses that are impossible
  7. How to best explain Brutal Legend to your friends...

it's simple, it's simply the greatest and best song ... erm ... game in the world Long time ago Tim and his brother Kyle here, they were hitchhikin' down a long and lonesome road. All of a sudden, there shined a shiny demon in the middle of the road. And he said: "Give me the best game in the world, or I'll eat your souls." Well Tim and Kyle, looked at each other, and they each said "Okay."
  8. poop all you want... anyway... the IT crowd did move away a bit from the IT crowd concept
  9. Scrubs is still funny. It's not like Prison Break or Heroes, they lost appeal in their current seasons.
  10. Zero Punctuation

that's not the same thing... they can still vomit

Yeah sort of. That's because mostly dynamic portals couldn't be created without a modified UT2004. I did create a modified one that did allow us to create portals on the fly. It was a quick hack, but worked rather well. But it's rather useless (and lost because my laptop disk crashed) because I'm not allowed to distribute modified binaries. Portal will teleport you when you cross the border. It's just a rendering trick that makes it look like you are in two places at once.

not all portals in Prey were static a friend made a portal gun for UT2004, it wasn't very well polished, and it lacked proper portal rendering (it was just render to texture, not dynamic portal rendering available through unrealscript in UT2004), but the portal functionality was quite versatile. You could put a portal on a vehicle and drive around and teleport everybody you "hit". crappy movie of that ut2004 mod in an early stage. Quite some flaws and things that didn't work well. Then again, this was slapped together in a couple of hours.
  13. The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass

Controls are sometimes a bit annoying, that rolling dash thing is very difficult. And sometimes Link jumps off a cliff because I didn't point it good enough. Well, the problem with touch screens is that you are always in the way of what you're looking at. The sailing is indeed a bit boring, it's also a bit annoying that the camera doesn't rotate. But so far (currently on the gusty island) I like the game. Haven't had to shout anything yet, just blowing. If you ask me they could have left that part out. Just like the annoying blowing to fill up baloons in Mario Kart. Geez. So far it's on my top 3 NDS games
  14. erhm... it was suposed to be "... season!?" and not "... season1?" I saw the first part of season 2. 6 episodes is short, even for British shows.
  15. Zero Punctuation

  16. Zero Punctuation

heh... yeah I doubt that the deal with that otoh... it would be nice if game devs were given more time

  18. Double Fine

Imagine combining SCRUM and SCUMM... you'll get SCRUMM... and erm... I have no idea what that would be
  19. Apartment hunting

I guess it's a crappy apartment owned by the church
  20. Double Fine

scrum development doesn't have anything to do with release dates or completion cycles, it's just a way to organize development. It's a form of agile development. and stuff I'm sure wikipedia has some data on it[citation needed]
  21. I thought the pirates have been doing that since ages
  22. Half Life 2: Episode 2

depends on how they implement difficulty often it's just buy lowering resources and increasing hitpoints and numbers although in same games this works perfectly (like Serious Sam)
  23. O rly?

I wonder if Orly knows a Yarly.. that would be awesome
  24. Double Fine

looks interesting, guess I might need to buy a 360 or ps3
