"They really the whole game" - ign.com
  2. Fallout 3

Ok, now I've pretty much completed the whole game. I've done all achievement thingies. And also quite a number of unmarked quests. The only thing left is kill everybody, visit every place, and collect every inventory item. There are really a shit load of uninteresting places in the game. For example all those transmitter towers. There's absolutely no use for them. Or the white house, absolutely not interesting. There are some locations which are not even on the map, but they of interest. Like rockopolis (has a bobblehead). The mutant behemoths are also unimpressive. Pretty much every one of them can easily be killed without receiving any damage. The deathclaws are more dangerous.
  3. dreamfall is dreadful The only thing missing from that game is quick time events.
  4. And Omikron. And if Quantic Dream continues in this manner: Hard Rain. Also, Dreamfall
  5. Lost Planet is 5$ on Steam. Is it worth it?

are you saying this might be a [thread=6223]video-game I originally hated, but ended up loving [/thread]?
  6. Lost Planet is 5$ on Steam. Is it worth it?

No. Well... $5 isn't that much. So you could try it. But it's quite a bad game.

  8. Contest: With Saitek Cyborg

That's probably the most retarded thing I've seen a mouse do ever. Anyway, my entry:

  13. Contest: With Saitek Cyborg

That game is a reference to the John Cage song called 4'33": http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/4%E2%80%B233%E2%80%B3 (if you listen very carefully while playing that game you will even hear the song.) And actually, I didn't make that reference. I just recalled a song that was pure silence and looked it up. The silence in the pod blast is more like 2+ minutes. It would have been awesome if it really was 4'33"
  14. 50 Cent: Blood On The Sand

holy shit, the screen is filled with HUD crap.
  15. Contest: With Saitek Cyborg

that's not a drawing, it's not even a cyborg but is a mac, with as usual some weird apple peripheral ps, what's up with the "four minutes thirty-three seconds of silence" at the end?
  16. today is your day.

    yeah, KOTOR2 was ok
  17. Fallout 3

looking back, it's a real shame that pretty much all quest in fallout are so short and simple.

  19. Android

The G1 is locked down, i.e. no root. So, I think I'm going to order a dev phone, considering I'm saving over 120 euros on that.
  20. Android

Ok, so I just figured out the dev phone is actually the same as the G1. However, the dev phone costs $425 and the G1 costs 500 euro. Ok, you don't get an 8GB MicroSD and no warranty, but you do get an unrestrained phone.
  21. Dantes Inferno trailer

Ok, so: Gamer's Inferno In Gamer's Inferno you play a gamer called Dante. Who ... <insert some (stupid) reason here why he has to travel through the 9 layers of gamer hell>. We need to figure out a mapping from a bad game design element to a circle. Some game design elements I can think of that should be feature are: - quick time events - "bullet time" - yearly sequels - stories without closure (i.e. "to be continued" if we ever going to make a sequel) - horse armor like add-ons? - ...
  22. Dantes Inferno trailer

Ugh... what a cookie cutter story. The last game I played with that story was Rise of the Argonauts.
  23. Fallout 3

actually I also had the other ending This wasn't actually my intention... stupid phone calls. But still, the story was crafted for the game to stop. They could also have changed the story so you could continue. Also funny to see how the differences in ending are dependent on the very last action you take. Just like in Deus Ex and in quite some other games.
  24. Fallout 3

Weee... finished the main story... and thereby the game :/ Why can't I continue...
