That guy reminds me of Derek Smart

that's one ugly box cover, I think it would have been much better without the characters in the background

It's not like console games are any better when it comes to bugs. I managed to get stuck and fall through the world a couple of times in Ratchet & Clank Crack in Time. And I don't know if it was by design, but at a certain point my weapons wouldn't upgrade anymore in the arena. If STALKER was on the consoles it would have been just a buggy.

Tony Jaa is indeed awesome. He's the new Jackie Chan.

Is that a typo? If not, then your joke sucks.

Hahah, that guy clearly didn't understand the opening of Brutal Legend.

I hate Windows Live! too. It's terrible. It's slow, it's unreliable. And it will burn you when it feels like it. I had to reinstall Fallout 3 because I installed the patch that came on the Fallout 3 DLC DVD. Apparently I wasn't supposed to do that. You're only allowed to install the patch via Windows Live. Luckily Windows Live is optional in Fallout 3.

Hmpf. Microsoft doesn't steal, they either buy out, borrow, or betray. Anyway, back on topic. The average human being is an asshat (in HR departments often misspelled as "asset"). I generally try to ignore comments on sites, but I often fail and have the urge to respond. The only site where I do read comments is SlashDot, all asshats are modded down quite well. I'm happy there's a good bunch of people on IdleThumbs.

It's not just a name change, the study gets it's identity back.

That's it... I'm not going to buy any game anymore in the first few months after release. Unless I really want to play that game.

aren't those holes very uncomfortable?

wow... that looks terrible. also.. wtf is up with the music in that segment, is it part of the game? in the end that music is just as appropriate as if it would as background music for dancing marek.

but seriously... wth is that? airport security will probably think it's a bomb

with the exception of a few, most members don't play games, only create them

Top Gear challenges are the reason I watch the show.

With the exception of Batman all those Eidos games are above retail price. Mini ninjas is a nice game (for 20 euros max), or at least I had fun with it. Just cause is a great game, lots of fun. So, 45 euros for those 3 games is a good deal.

Homes come with girlfriends these days? I hope she can cook.

Buy second hand? Sjeesh. Then the developers will not get any cut. You might as well download an illegal copy for free if you want to stick it to the developers.

I finally completed setting up my Onkyo C6215 home theater system. It arrived yesterday (as planned), but the HDMI cables I ordered (from an other place) didn't arrive until today. So yesterday I had to do with proper sound through HDMI, but using the analog video of the PS3. Anyway, today I hooked it all up through HDMI. I'm really satisfied with this system. The sound is good enough for me. The main reason I bought this set was because of the HDMI features, and the price (it's quite cheap). The TX SR507 AV receiver has proper HDMI support, it does HDMI Audio switching. So the audio is stripped from the incoming source and played through the receiver, and the video is passed through to the TV. Most cheap HDMI AVRs only perform HDMI passthrough and for digital audio you need to use either coax or optical inputs. I also noticed that when I turn off the AVR it will automatically perform HDMI passthrough. So when everything goes through to the TV and I still have video and audio without any actions I sound take. So now I can finally properly enjoy playing games on my PS3. And people say gaming on a console is cheaper than on a PC. Well... so far it has cost me over 2000 euros (42" full-hd panasonic plasma, PS3, onkyo c6215 HTS, super duper awesome high quality HDMI cables (for 7 euros each)). That's more expensive than my workstation was (only 1800 euros). And I'm not even including the couch I had to buy. Sure, I could have opted to play with the PS3 on a crappy 30cm SD TV with mono audio while sitting on the ground. But what's the point of that.

A lot of cartoons are outsourced to Japan for animation.

I really need to improve the way I keep track of the games I own. I have no idea what 2009 games I own, well... except Batman AA. What was the last PC game you played anyway? ps, on an unrelated note, anyone know a nice program to keep track of Video game and movie collections (currently using GCstar).

Nah.. I think the problem is you changed input forms. I played it with keyboard and mouse and I didn't have any problems. Format shifting works, but input shifting always sucks.
