Outcast didn't age well, I tried to play it a few years ago.

I'm not even going to bother with voting. It's just a screwed up popularity contest. It's what RPS wrote about, but worse. I can create a Top 100 games I played. But I don't feel I can contribute to a generic list because I haven't played most of the other games. My opinion is worthless without the reasoning behind it.

Only played it for a short while. But it looks like it's really Serious Sam First Encounter with better textures, and improved models for the monsters. The levels appear mostly untouched. The bobbing is still as extreme as before (really looks weird now). But there is one thing which sucks, 5.1 support. The sound positioning is really shit. I bought it for 10 pounds from Get Games, which is a better price for this game than the $20 steam charges (it's still a steam-only game).

That Moby Dick book cover looks sort of like a similar transposition that Disney made of Treasure Island to Treasure Planet. But more "maturely".

Listening to the PC Gamer Podcast made me sad. It's nowhere close to the IldeThumbs podcast.

There are not that many games which Dutch voices or Dutch in-game text, unless it's a "kids" game. I did play a bit of Dungeon Keeper in Dutch, the voices were quite good actually, but not as good as the English voices (yes, I figured out how to change the language to English). Luckily the market for Dutch localization isn't that large. But it also means that there aren't that many voice actors. If there's anything that sucks it's hearing the same voice for completely different characters. Back in the day most cartoons where in original English with Dutch subs, but these days it's pretty much all in Dutch. I don't like that at all. Game manuals are often localized to Dutch. But considering the game isn't that often introduces weird things where the manual speaks of X instead of Y where X is a purist translation of the name Y.

Game logic bugs are not driver issues, most bugs people encounter are game logic bugs.

That's actually a lame video, it hardly shows any proof. Don't have any doubts that evony is a scam. But still, it's a video of FOX news quality.

Play the game, and finish it. The first third of the game is what cage was constantly claiming the game to be. Yet, there's still 66% of game after that. Also, as far as I know people here don't consider him to be a joke. It's just that he's quite full of himself, you know Molyneux-style. But without the snazzy haircut. ps, one of these is not Jake
