Just finished Uncharted: Drake's Fortune. I liked it. But the whole aiming and shooting is terrible, a mouse it much better. I wish the game had more adventuring it. It's now pretty much moving onwards to the next prepared battle field. It's just like GoW and Mass Effect 2, you can see that you are about to be attacked because there are all these half height walls in an area. It's a shame so many bonus things are locked behind getting achievements. I love watching making-of and concept art stuff. And it would be great if that stuff is unlocked after completing a relevant segment of the game, rather than buy collecting hidden treasures and getting achievements for killing X people with weapon Y.

Didn't mean it like that, although Cerberus might be "too big to fail" I was more thinking along the line of an attach on Cerberus to by the Alliance to get rid of them. Most employees of Cerberus are motivated by their paycheck.

So, Sheppard is working for this extremely rich and powerful company. Then why do I have to pillage planets for resources, and why do I have to bother with credits and stores? The planet missions in ME1 were much better than the planet probing in ME2. It's really tedious.

When you call tech support you should always ask if they can skip right to box #12 of their flowchart/workflow. Why 12 you ask? That was so far the most successful number. 25 didn't work at all, 10 was completely misunderstood. Wit 13 the person got annoyed. And 12 has worked twice so far.

Interesting to see people blame the UnrealEngine3 for this. Maybe it was a bug in the engine for a short while, or Bioware simply screwed up. Because I haven't had this issue in any UnrealEngine3 version I messed around with. It's really a weird bug, considering you just disable and then enable cores for a processor during the game, and it goes away. Must be some weird combination between UE3's loading mechanism and Bink playback considering the streamed loading within levels is pretty much instantly for me. Anyway, this workaround is very welcome as I became quite frustrated yesterday because I had to reload a save game quite often in a short period because I was at a difficult point in the game and died too often.

wtf... chaning the loading movie and setting process affinity to 1 reduces the load time like ten fold

On my PC loading goes quite well. Also, the incremental loading is barely noticeable. In some cases when you open a door it takes a fraction of a second. But loading on the normady is horrible, it takes ages.
