really? doesn't look any worse that one guy one cup.
  7. Fucking PC gaming!

UE3 licensees receive constant updates to the engine, so they always have access to the latest UE tech. Of course merging your fork of the UE3 engine with the latest changes is cumbersome. And at some point you really have to stop because you need to get your game stable. Anyway, I don't know what the Bioware guys did, but some of their changes really screwed up stuff. Like ME2 having insane loading times on various dual-core CPUs (like mine). In ME1 I didn't have any issue afaik. Try disabling post processing effects to see if that makes any changes.
  8. Spam Email

That's probably because your email providers removes the spam messages rather than flagging it. I used to get over 1000 spam emails per day. But these days its maybe 10 to 20 per day. Although it's also partially due to retiring a host. But a couple of years ago on December it dropped from 1000+ a day to less that 100 a day. That was really weird. A major spam network was taken down.
  9. Far Cry 2

    lmgtfy.com is easier
  10. Recently completed video games

Finally finished Brutal Legend. The final battle wasn't as difficult as I thought, actually, it was quite easy. Didn't really care for the real time strategy part. But overall the game was quite nice, I really enjoyed how various metal concepts where explained in the story.

  14. So long Mythic?

I knew MMOGs where expensive. But this is quite insane. Apparently there is one guy who was charged for the next 6 years, i.e. $1000+.
  15. Movie/TV recommendations

You mean the screenplay of Beverley Cross? You know, who wrote the screenplay of the original in 1981.
  16. What do you mean lately? UK has been putting 1984 in to action for the past 10 years or something.

  19. iPhone OS 4

The apple fanboys at my work said I shouldn't upgrade the firmware because with 3.1 tethering doesn't work because it was removed. In 3.2 it was put back, but can only be activated through the carrier (better locked down than it was the case in 3.0). On a default Android you can see you missed a call by turning on the display (without unlocking the phone). But there are also applications that can signal various things (like missed call, received SMS, ...) by blinking the led, etc. On the iPhone I have to unlock the phone (by sliding and then entering my pin) so see if I received a message or missed a call.
  20. It's http://adventuregamers.com/ since 2001'ish.
  21. Post your face!

No, my avatar looks like me. I looked like that way before that picture was made.
  22. iPhone OS 4

Besides tethering ... 1) I can connect my Android phone to any devices that supports USB mass storage devices, and those devices can read the files from my phone. 2) I can install applications through other means than a strictly controlled "market". 3) When my phone is locked I can see if somebody called me, or if I received a message, or ... 4) My "home screen" shows more than just application icons. It can show my upcoming appointments, the weather, a music player with the current music being played, etc.
  23. iPhone OS 4

Not really. It's still somewhat behind on the Android. Although various Android phones are also behind on the Android. Does iPhone OS 4 finally support tethering? I'm still stuck on 3.0 because of that. It's my work phone, and being able to connect to the internet with my laptop at any time.
  24. or maybe they moved closer to each other
