I guess those kids didn't know DDoS'ing is a criminal offence in quite some countries.

Spirit Tracks is still on my to-finish list.

yes, don't recall what review it was, but possibly a Zelda game or a jRPG.

Just played it for about 2 hours. It's ok, nowhere near as good as the penny arcade games, for the rest its sort of similar. Except that battles are more simplistic. Right now in the second area, and the quests are pretty much identical to the quests in the first area. And from what I can tell there's a third area and maybe even a forth. Unless things really change I'm going to give this is a . It's fun to play, but not really a great game.

Thank you; that'll save me the time watching it.

hmm.... ok so unless I can actually find a collectors edition for the PC I guess I will hold off on this game until it's cheaper or at least fixed. they could have caught these issues with a demo

PS3 GPU is based on the nVidia Geforce 7 series. The XBox 360 uses an ATI GPU, based on the R520 series.

Pretty much all games that aim for a "cinematic experience" are more or less on-rails. But that's only natural for their aim.

I want to buy it. But I can't find a place in the Netherlands that sells the special edition for the PC. What's up with that?

Because it isn't much more besides copy pasting it.

I have mixed feelings about this flat pixelart. It should at least be converted to 3D.

Read Masters of Doom. I think this was the first non-technical book in 11+ I finished (or even read beyond a couple of pages). It's quite an interesting reed on the history of Id software and the early days of PC video games. From the book it looks like Carmack was pretty much the sole factor in Id's demise. He drove away all the major players in one way or the other. Sure, at some point Romero's ego got out of hand due to the fame. But I doubt this would have happened if they didn't boot Hall out of the company. Carmack's tech might have been ground breaking, but if they did went the way of Halls ideas we might have had an Half Life like game in 1994.

lame pyramid spam scheme, will have none of that

I wonder how much of the behavior used by various people are bugs and will be fixed by the boopdate. Anyway, properly working redstone, switches, door and minecarts will be awesome.

Oh crap, forgot about that thing. It was most likely me. The client crashed when I was playing up there, and I didn't bother to restart it to clean up after myself.

Not really. Because our world itself isn't really that interesting.
