Surely you jest. It would be "Mass Ef3ect". I don't like the earthy teaser :/ I want less earth like stuff. I want more stuff of those ancient races like ME1 had.

Yes, it's unoriginal, I've seen a lot of others posting similar rants. But that doesn't make it any less valid.

LCATGOL (aka Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light) I think I never played a game that had crappy controls for all systems. I've played the game on the PC, but also tried the demo on the PS3. On the PC the movement controls are quite a pain for various parts of the game because you can essentially only move in 8 different directions, and sometimes you need to move 33% up and 77% left to make a jump. There was one obstacle course in the game that took me about 20 tries to get past because I kept missing the jump only slightly, or got bumped off for some reason. On the PS3 aiming and firing was a pain. Overall the game was quite ok. I didn't really like the design decision to make this game just a collection of levels with puzzles and battles. I would have liked it more if the game was a bit more connected as a whole. The game was clearly made for achievement whores because it's impossible to get a 100% of any level in the first try. I didn't really like the music in the game, is was quite disruptive for the overall mood, it was pretty much 100% "battle" music. It would also have been nice if there was some actual exploring going on. All levels were quite straight forward action, puzzle, puzzle, action, action, action, puzzle, etc. Most puzzles were just about not dying. So, it's just (timed) obstacle courses. No real thinking required. Some of the side-tasks did contain puzzles that require some thinking. Final judgment:

Dejobaan is weird. Yes, I know they've been making fun games since 1876. But I wish they worked out some of the other POCs. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAaaaaaaaaaaAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAaaaaaaaaaaaaAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAaaaaaaaaaaAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAaaaaaaaaaaaaAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAaaaaaaaaaaAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAaaaaaaaaaaaaAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAaaaaaaaaaaAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAaaaaaaaaaaaaAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAaaaaaaaaaaAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAaaaaaaaaaaaaAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAaaaaaaaaaaAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAaaaaaaaaaaaaAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAaaaaaaaaaaAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAaaaaaaaaaaaaAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaAAAAAAAAAAAhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh is ok, but some of the other things looked much awesomer -

despite average dullness of the mako landings ME1, it was much better than the planet scanning in ME2

1. DeathSpank The only thing that could make this game better would have been a cyberpunk setting. 2. Mass Effect 2 It's the sequel to ME1, 'nuf said. Possible candidates: New Vegas and Enslaved. I haven't had the time to play them yet. And I'm actually still waiting for them to arrive. Honorable mentions: Just Cause 2 It's not really a great game (not GOTY worthy), but it's a game I've had a lot of fun in. I've clocked over 36 hours in the game. I just like messing around in that world. Most disappointing game of the year: -1. Darksiders. The demo was quite nice, the game started out quite nice. But after completing 2 chapters it's the same shit, different color. I'm really put off my repetition of this scale in games. -99. Alien Breed: Impact. Seriously, wtf... DO NOT BUY THIS. It's not worth $1. Team17 really did their best to get people to hate this game. PS. I'm not considering Minecraft because it's not really released in 2010.

Famous needs your help: Telltale Programmer and the Hubris Sandcastle

yes, I will do what famous tells me to -
hmpf... I decided to play this game by going all-in every time. So far 50 wins, 30 loses (had a losing streak). When a special item is on the table the chance of losing increases a lot. My best win so far, is 4 rounds.

Yes he does. I've seen him do it more than once. I think he thinks he's funny. On a related note. I like the music in that flash game (the level music). But the game itself is a bit annoying. Stoopid water.

Or like every game doing an homage to Sokoban by placing crates everywhere -
I didn't want make you nervous because you didn't have anything to worry about. Besides, this'll allow you to become part of idlethumbs culture. You know, like Ziggy, the guy that can cite various text adventures from memory.

I'm tempted to make my own advent calendar based on games, but I have the feeling it would be douchy move, even though I'd be doing it to show the internet, not him how ridiculous you are for getting excited about this, I could show you 1000 more deserving video game related calendars!
