    It's a compact now
  2. Show me your desk/gaming space

Looks like you have less trouble with clutter now
  3. Grand ThVmb Auto PC

Initially the game was running great for me. But after the some patch I now have to alt-tab away from the game, and then return for the performance to be ok. Doing this once after the menu is shown is enough. That's a Windows thing. I have this on one of my U2412Ms. Windows says 59Hz (and thus GTA5 too), but the monitor and nvidia control panel say 60Hz. My other U2412M does say 60Hz. I think it's a rounding issue.
  4. Life

You really missed a joke about Crossy Road there.
  5. Broken Age - Double Fine Adventure!

But what if you have a working memory and still know what happened in act 1?
  6. Just Cause 3

there is a significant chance that I will buy this
  7. Grand ThVmb Auto PC

I should have access to most bike races, so also pushbikes. But I have to look into that. Maybe I need to play them more for them to show up in the random job selection screen? Same thing with weapons, I need to figure out how to get something else than just a pistol. I didn't like the CTF like thing we played.
  8. Grand ThVmb Auto PC

a shitty day to put your lips on some copper, but a great day for some carjacking
  9. Grand ThVmb Auto PC

Just to be clear. Make sure you got past the GTA Online tutorial and that you can freely roam the online world. Otherwise you are not allowed to join.
  10. Played it for 17 minutes! It's Friday evening, already had some things to drink. So my timing sucks.
  11. Grand ThVmb Auto PC

I think so, because it says "crews" not "crew". Buy probably only one can be active at the time.

  14. Grand ThVmb Auto PC

I'm up for it. So far I'm enjoying single player more than what I've played from GTA4. I have yet to try MP.

Except for my 15 minutes of fame \o/
  18. Stealing

It doesn't look like anyone pointed this out, but copyright infringement (or plagiarism) is not stealing. Of the 3 bad actions you list, plagiarism is by far the worst, followed by disrespecting people's private life. Taking somebody's work and not giving them credit is just an extreme asshole move, you have nothing to lose to give credit where credit is due. Not asking people for permission to take their photo and use is just lazy and deteriorates the freedom of passing through public space. Infringing copyright,... meh. If you are just "sampling" and not copying complete works I see it as enriching the culture, and that's a good thing. Sadly modern copyright law, written by huge content owners, do not like additions to culture unless they can monetize it.
  19. DirectX has regular updates of various of its components, or used to. There is no "easy" way to detect if all components installed are the one's included in the most recent installer.
  20. Project Eternity, Obsidian's Isometric Fantasy RPG

I made an error. I overlooked pretty much the first main plot quest action (the dead woman), which prevented me from doing all sorts of things which made the game much easier. So I'm back to 'normal' now.
  21. Project Eternity, Obsidian's Isometric Fantasy RPG

the difficulty is all over the place. I started on normal, but turned to easy to get past the temple. I even got killed fighting of some boars on normal. Turned to easy, and I still encounter battles which I barely survive after a few tries. It really feels like you you encounter areas you're not supposed to enter until a later stage.
  22. New Forums! Post feedback, notes, etc here

you are probably holding your old iPhone4 incorrectly.
  23. It's more legal in the US than in the Netherlands. Consumption is not legal (just ignored within private or "special" enclosures), production is illegal, sale is strictly regulated, but transportation is illegal. (Yeah, something is not right) So, it's easy to get, and easy to use. And most people don't really give a shit. If our PM admitted he smoked weed when he was young, nobody cares. If he admitted he still does after he had a 16 hour meeting, most will probably don't care. (As long as he doesn't do it before the meeting, or before driving, ... just like alcohol). Heck, a nickname for our current king used to be "Prins Pils". Even though weed it easy to get and consume in the Netherlands, consumption per capita, and people who ever consumed is much much lower than in countries where it's not legal (or was not).
  24. General Video Game Deals Thread

Anachronox isn't really a good candidate for game-clubbing due to the significant branching going on at some point. Although, it's only 2 consecutive missions out of a pool of 5. Then again, it's an awesome game which I really should play again.
