How so? Nothing happened/was said here that even comes close to what some of those politicians did while in office.

It's magic. I think it's similar to voxels.

I get the feeling you use a different meaning for "society". But yeah sure, then I'm privileged. You can also add to the list that I'm intelligent (I have paper to prove that, really), non-religious, have all my limbs, no glasses, or any other serious body defects. But then again, I suck at being pretty, natural languages, drawing, playing the piano, dancing, etc. So I think I sort of come out quite neutral.

More humble to the bundle. "Steel Storm" was added to bundle #3: http://www.humblebundle.com/

Considering I don't have a privileged position in society I apparently must be. edit: wait, you tricked me. I never said I didn't like feminism. I only said I didn't like part of the group that make up feminists.

So, it's just those two options? The world isn't binary, and never will, no matter how much certain group claim it is.

Ok, so let's start with the first entry, "Custer's Revenge". So, why exactly is she bound to the totempole in her own village? (is it even here village? or the village of a rival tribe?). Also, she's smiling. The box doesn't mention rape. So it is pretty much comes down to what you want to read into it. And some people prefer to see it as rape rather than forbidden love. But seriously, Tomb Raider is much more sexist than this game, and it's not even in the list. Second entry, comp.women newgroup... I don't get it, as far as I can read there was a flame ware concerning the location of that newsgroup. It's was about keeping a proper structure in the newsgroup system. Or is the issue that there was going to be a comp.women newsgroup at all? Who requested it? Was it a women? etc. Third entry. Finally a sexist act, by a single lunatic. Not sure what this has to do with geeks except that it took place in a technical oriented university. Then... finally some proper sexist PR stuff we, up to that point, would only know from car advertisements. "Perl is my bitch". That wiki entry is complaining that the discussion was `Most of the controversy over the PIMB tshirts was framed in terms of "professionalism" not in terms of the inherent sexism of the term "bitch". `. So the sexist part is that they bother more about being professional than not using the word bitch? That's only half true as part of the flamewar resulted in the "We fuck camels" text, nothing more professional about that slogan. Funny enough, the list doesn't mention Romero making somebody his bitch. ... but this is really offtopic for the thread "Unnecessary Comical Picture Thread"

FYI, I was referring to OssK's link to "Geek Feminism". It's more about female superiority than equality. And I dislike that stuff. (sure, it also contains a bunch of sexist references, but so do most TV shows for women) I'm for equality of every human being, but I loath the hypocrisy of various groups that claim to fight for quality. Feminist (specially the current vocal groups) belong to that. They're all for equality as long as it put women ahead. That's not equality. Feminist groups increase sexist discrimination in the last bunch of years. There are now laws that more or less require a certain percentage of female employees, or at least give a bonus in hiring females. That's not equality. You hire the best person available, irrelevant of their sex, religion, hairstyle or toenaillength. (also, I added the disclaimer about the generalization of my remark, sjeesh)

What? I'm not allowed to dislike those sexist extremists?
-
ugh... feminists (yes, a bit of a generalization)

I did.

InFamous Picked it from the "gratis" games in the PSN welcome back thingy. It was ok, not great. Climbing builds is quite a pita in this game, and considering that you're climbing building 67% of the time, it really sucks. The side missions in this game are rather boring, a lot of side missions are identical. So it's quite tedious to complete them. Most main missions are created in such a way that you die a number of items, but that's not a problem, you can simply continue from the checkpoint that was a few seconds a way. I think the game is quite poorly made on that part, you just take dieing for granted, because it gives you full health and energy, and you don't lose a lot of progress. I'm pretty sure the did this to make up for the rather crappy controls and gameplay. You need to use at least 4 fingers to attack (move, attack mode, aim, and then an attack action).

Apparently I've been successful in avoiding those parts of the internets. Or... maybe I'm part of it and I don't know it.

it is?

Indeed, don't waste money on Magicka, get Capsized instead.
