It's ok, it's like one finger death punch, but not as good. Worst part, there is no proper indication when enemies are within range.

Hell no, censoring would make it worse. -

Let the fun begin: String s = ""; System.out.println("" == s); System.out.println("" == ""); System.out.println("" == s + ""); System.out.println("" + "" == s + ""); System.out.println("" + "" == "" + ""); result: and now we make final String s = ""; result:

What if I told you that in Oracle's and OpenJDK it does not matter. Yay string constant pool. But if you want the best kind of correctness you would write: if ("".equals(fizzbuzz)) println(i);

I eat pretty much everything. Sure there are things I don't like, but it never stops me from trying a similar dish prepared by somebody else a different time. Although, you probably won't see me ordering snails or oysters. I find them boring as fuck. Snails taste like chewed out gum with the flavor of whatever stuff they were put in. And oysters are just like salty snot. I'm not a big fan of mean you eat of a bone when eating, like drumsticks, chicken wings, spareribs. I'm civilized (sort of), so give me stuff I can eat with knife and fork. I really hate fish bones, which kind of sucks because I love fish. Finding a fish bone in my mouth can really ruin that dish for me. It's probably because I fear it getting stuck in my throat or something.

I'm pretty sure the proper Dutch name for a medical doctor is "arts" not "dokter".

GTA Online wasn't really cooperating yesterday. It wouldn't let Lu en ysbreker exist in the same world. We eventually went along with a smaller group playing the sadly correctly named playlist "random crap". Probably the most interesting event along this playlist was this helicopter race which took much longer than expected:

Just finished Pillars of Eternity Truly a modern Baldur's Gate. It's long (took me 40+ hours), it's damn difficult (eventually finished it on easy :/ ). The ending was great, every choice you made in the game was revisited in how it changed the world. So instead of just having a choice and the end of the game and only get an ending based on that pretty much everything was presented. So it was a worthwhile ending. I did not do everything by the looks of it, but I doubt I will return to the world (via an earlier save) to wrap somethings up.

I just came back from seeing Mad Max in 3D with Dolby Atmos in the new cinema near me. I really don't care for 3D, especially not in high speed action sequences. It feel like playing a game at 20fps. And the whole Atmos thingy, the demo movie and logo movie sounded really awesome. But in the movie I did not feel like it made much difference. In case you don't know, Atmos allows 128 audio streams and 64 speakers in all directions. And it's also a surcharge on the movie ticket. 3D surcharge and atmos surcharge. Watching movies in the cinema is expensive. Luckily, it was a late and rather empty showing (only 30 people I think). As for the movie itself, it was actually kind of really awesome. It was everything I hoped for.

Lord of the (Necro)dance - Daily Challenge!

Started doing daylies today. Did not go very well. I rather suck at dealing with some enemies (especially dragons). There isn't a scoreboard after you die, right? -
Do You Have a Preferred Perspective for Games?
elmuerte replied to Architecture's topic in Video Gaming
Depends on the game. -
Yeah, that's not the case for offline play. Bought cars are delivered to your garage, but once taken out there's no protection.

Finished the single player campaign of GTA5 today . I found the story rather lacking, or rather, was there a story? It just felt like a bunch of events strung together. In general I think it's a good game, but there are so many things wrong with it (things they did better in previous games). Property: it sucks in this game. If you somehow stumble into enough money you can buy property, which grants you: annoying missions that can pop up on the worst possible times which you have to complete, otherwise you do not get any income. I'd rather have the ability to buy a property and then have to do a bunch of missions before it will start making you money (and leave you alone). Goal-less submissions: in most cases, getting the correct get away vehicle and hide it at a suitable location. Tedious at best. You can waste quite a bit of time here to find something useful and not park it too close to something or another. Or the thing I wasted too much time on: get a firetruck. At least give me a hint where those fuckers are. Making a lot of money: not really required, but if you want to buy a lot of property (no idea why) the only way to do this is to play the stock market at the right time and doing some missions at the right time. Buying cars: just don't, it's a waste of money. You will lose the car when you start a mission. Vague/shitty instant fails: quite often I had to restart from a checkpoint because of some stupid instant failure trigger. One of the most annoying parts was driving over a train. Once you lost momentum it became almost impossible to reach the end without failing. And losing momentum was just way too easy. There are lots of other examples where you are so easily, and unexpectedly, treated with a "FAILURE" reward Anyway, the heists were fun. I didn't replay any of them to see what the alternative method would play like. The crazyness of Trevor was fun up to the point that switching to him was following by waiting for half a minute before you could control him again. So now there's only the online part.

It was a boring helicopter race. There are more interesting tracks for helicopters. Tractor racing was last week, and it's really horrible slow and boring. Not recommended to ever play it. Just like the CTF gametype in GTA5, it's just shit.
