If you burned those bridges then they were shitty bridges anyway. Everybody in game development, specially indie and mod scene, should understand people leaving a project because of the reasons you mentioned. Specially for creative people, if they can't align with the art direction it is only going to have negative consequences. Besides, it's not like you're going home and taking your toys. Your contribution is still usable and counts. Having been active for a long time in the modding community around the Unreal games, I've seen this a lot. People join and leave groups all the time. And the usual reasons were: I got hired by a (game) company (and for time and/or legal reasons I cannot continue), I don't see a future for myself in this project (conflict of interests, or crappy leadership). And usually this split was amicable. And in cases where it wasn't the whole project more or less died within a few weeks because other team members didn't want to work with those jerks. Also you shouldn't feel bad about contributing to a game of poor quality. You learned stuff, and probably became better. But he.. you're now working for one of those "social network game" companies. Creating the next mafia wars, bejeweled, sokoban, etc. \o/ You'll become rich

wait what? I guess I missed that Well... all endings felt the same to me. Might as well have been a single ending. I liked it more the way New Vegas did. It had some effect on how the endgame played.

Ah, that might explain my feeling DX1 had more hubbing going on. Btw, the best thing about DXHR is probably the classic DX1 music blasting through various radios. It never got old. Also the classic gramophone was great. Money was shit in this game. I finished with like 40000 credits. The only worthwhile stuff to buy were the occasional weapon upgrades and praxis kits. But at 66% of the game I no longer cared about any augs. I had everything I wanted/was useful.

I've put every game in it's own category

Finished it But all in all. Great game. I only became a bit bored with the hub side missions. They were too much alike, basically simple fetch quests. Would have been nice if they were a bit longer and required you to visit an other location. Next time they should make the hub world larger by allowing you to travel between hubs when you want, and have missions that span multiple hubs. Didn't DX1 have this?

Come on people... where are you?! -
If it was a game, you would have combined the tong of a three headed monkey and a banana to create the graplinghook

Correct, none. I was just asking for confirmation that the world isn't going to be rerolled again the next few days because I'm planning to build the crap out of it right now. -

I'm waiting for IdleMC 1.8. We're going to reroll right? The new world generation is awesome.

I still haven't finished the game, but I think I've almost got 75% of all augmentations. Is it possible to get everything? That would be quite lame.

4th!? I thought there were only 3?

boss #2 was a walk in the park for me; killed it in the first try within a minute. I think I simply had the correct feature set.

didn't say you expect it, just that a lot of people agree that advertisement adds to the realism factor to certain games. Usually racing games are mentioned as example.

The sad sad truth of life: People expect advertisements for realism. I loath product propaganda in content I paid for. There is no good reason except greed.
