I've seen Weekend at Bernie's years ago (early/mid 90s) on Dutch TV, and the sequel too. I can still remember the opening scene were those two guys are on top of the office building in a kiddie pool, and when they want to walk away the tar of the roof sticks to their shoes because of the heat. But what's with the sudden reference to WaB? Nick is Bernie? Will there be a Weekend at Nick's?

Nickcast was confusing. Nick really sounded a lot like Nick, couldn't keep them apart.

SC3 had much more micro management iirc and SC4 introduced that "neighbor city" thing.

I hope they stay true to the original. I didn't really like sim city 4, 3 was okish though.

I don't recall that they wanted to use scumm, but something like scumm so that Tim could do the "programming" for the game. (to minimize the team size). Then again, taking parts from scumm and combine it with some new game engine logic would also reduce the time needed to have a usable engine.

I don't know if any of you already know it, but WhatTheMovie is a great combo between games and movies. Or at least, it's a game where you have to guess the movie based on a single still image.

Serious sam stuff is also seriously on sale. Those goofy serious sam mini games are actually quite ok. Serious Sam Double DD is a ok platform game. And Random Encounter is a jRPG like game. Both quite enjoyable.

But why did you have to carry that broken ship's compass with you all the way? There was no place to use it.

Mad Moxxi is just arena stuff. I hate that more than orange/teal.

Uncharted 3 Well, it's uncharted. I think Uncharted 2 is the best so far. U3 had a lot of annoying parts. A lot of running from things where a single mistake means a complete fail, and often drake wouldn't move as I wanted. Even less exploring in U3, and way more annoying fights. There were also a bunch of pseudo game elements which were more semi-interactive movie segments than actual gameplay (e.g. the plane segment).
