I have no objections to a reset. I'm still enjoying the current epoch, so no rush for me. -
To be honest, the best story in any of Blizzard's games is in The Lost Vikings. Diablo 1 didn't have much of a story, and I think that was a good decision, leaving the player much in the dark instead of presenting a half-assed plot.

I can't believe I'm saying this, but I'm almost happy my PC died.

You know what's even more awesome that a broken PC? Broken TFT screens so that you will have to use your ancient 15" CRT. Then you'll be able to enjoy the graphic quality of the 15+ yrd old games. -

Tthe main gain in multiple screens (or larger screen estate) is reducing context switching. You lose a lot of productivity when you have to switch windows constantly. Larger screens don't have the same positive effect as 2 screens. This is mostly due to the fact that the window management of Windows and OSX sucks (and for X11 its tricky to configure). You usually have at least 1 application maximized because it's your main work area. The other screen shows additional information, sometimes on several smaller windows. This setup is crap to pull off on a single window because the window manager doesn't provide a similar region management on a single screen.

You mean "Jon's tiny castle thingy"? That's not tiny. Not as enormous as some of the other constructions, but it's not tiny. -

Just reached level 4 (and got killed almost instantly at either entrance). I think normal difficulty is just about right, it's challenging but not infuriating difficult. But I do feel like cheating by closing doors/gates and heal before killing the next foe. It took me a while to figure out I could place stuff behind metal fences. Anyway, I like this game a lot. -
the main one is a U2412M (highly recommended); the left one is a E207WFP

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/24p Basically, movies are played back at 24Hz, but screens display at 60Hz or 100Hz. That doesn't map well, so there is a very subtle visual artifact. In 24p mode the screen's refresh and frames match up giving better playback quality. You won't notice the misaligned playback until you see the synced playback.

Hurray for me! I have "vacation". I say "vacation" because half way through my vacation I'm going to help out setting up a music/cultural festival that's being held at my old university. I've been part of that festival since the beginning, and it's getting better and better every year since it's it all started in 2002. So I will have a few days of rest, and then a couple of days to spend all my rest on the festival. FYI, It's called Green Vibration and it's being held on the campus of the University of Twente next Thursday. More info (and ticket price info) http://www.greenvibrations.nl/

Yeah sort of. But this thing will probably stick less because it's usually just a few seconds in a movie. But nonetheless it will probably bug me. I really try to stay away from things like that because it will just ruin me. Same thing as 24p mode, DVD upscaling, etc. I simply don't want to see/hear the difference.
