I've played BLands1 without any help, it is very playable as a SP. I hope blands2 will also be.

I prefer BG1's UI, but a larger part of the screen assigned to the world is great. There's a fair chance I might buy this and waste a lot of time. now I can't unsee it

it's a spy party

Just finished Trine 2: Goblin Menace Pretty much the same stuff as the original game, but you get some new powers (magentism and low gravity areas) and 5 very different levels/themes (and an endboss). The DLC is a perfect extension to the game, there are no changes to the core gameplay or difficulty, it's simply more adventure in the exact same style.

I'm busy wrapping up the DLC for borderlands 1 that I didn't play years ago. I finished Knoxx yesterday, and still have Claptrap's Revolution to go. What annoys me is the amount of backtracking you have to do, specially in Knoxx you have to travel a lot and replay the same areas quite a bunch of times, and what makes things worse is that quitting the game means you respawn and the home town, so you have to travel that same tedious road again. I really hope they fixed that in Borderlands 2.

You didn't miss out on anything. I invested 39 hours into that game to finish it completely and it was everything but a good game.

I didn't say "quit", but stopped playing. But yeah, because puzzles games pretty much never have something going for them except the puzzles. There is no story that comes to an end.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure I was joking. I thought the ridiculousness of my language and statement was obvious.

I'm not ashamed to quit a game. But I do think it's bad to quite a game because you might be missing out of something good. I rarely quit games, but I quite often stop playing a game. You could consider this quitting a game, but I might come back to playing it somewhere in the future. For example, I stopped playing Killzone 2 for something like 6 months before continuing it and finishing it. Most games I stop playing are puzzle games that become tedious, or simply way to difficult for me. For example the BIT.TRIP games , I don't have the reflexes and timing to finish those. Or Cogs and Droplitz, seriously tedious and annoying challenges at some point. But I really don't consider it quitting because I moved on to something more interesting and the game simply started to gather dust.
