Tom Hall and Brenda Brathwaite kicking old school rpg

Shaker is going down, or it looks like it. They recognize their mistakes, but sadly, it's not going to make it. Halfway down the road and they only reached 25% so far. I'm not really sad about Shaker getting shafted, but I am sad there isn't going to be a Tom Hall PC game anytime soon. -

Friggin damn loop midgets. I found 3 of them within 5 lootchests. Now I'm constantly backing up when opening a chest. Sadly Borderlands 2 is just like the previous game, not suitable for a quick game. Wanted to do a quick 45 minute session, but ended up playing close to 1.5 hour to finish the mission.

yep, it's the 's' -
I don't know, I played borderlands 1 completely alone. And so far I've played borderlands 2 mostly alone. I had a small coop session with 8bit last saturday, and I'm not completely sold on the coop gameplay yet. Story wise, it's really weird to play with another guy that's also the only one that can save the planet...

ugh... annoying clipping issues. Had to drop out 3 times today. I got stuck twice, and once a quest pickup dropped below some structure. And what's the dead with water, sometimes its deadly, and other times its not?

I completely agree with Rodi, it's a whole different ball-/Video game. I don't have much to add, but I just wanted to say that I really cringe at statements like "most radical form of entertainment socialism since Obama got elected". WTF does politics have to do with this. Statements like that carry a double meaning. And besides that, the whole statement of Nik and Scott is wrong. There is no form of socialism in freemium because the freeloaders don't get any of the benefits of the 1%ers. Sure, they get the right to "play", for as far as you can call it playing. Also, a lot of freemium games are also ad supported, so it's not just the 1% that pays. (damn you forum for converting videogame into Video game)

heh... same here. I just started/continues Borderlands 2 after I finished Torchlight 2. So Dishonered has been put on the TODO list.

How many games do you own that you have never actually played?
elmuerte replied to baekgom84's topic in Video Gaming
Let's see. I have 220 games on steam. I guess also around 200+ physically. Some digital only in PSN and quite a bunch non-steam (e.g. GOG, TellTale, etc.). But I don't think it'll reach 500 (I have a bunch of duplicates), or maybe I do, but I'm not going to waste time counting. I think I haven't even given 50 of them 30 minutes of play time. Most of them are from bundles (either humble or sale). There's also a shit load of them I never finished, and probably never will. -
holy crap.. that's huge

is that trailer also somewhere on the internet? or just the walled garden called facebook

Tom Hall and Brenda Brathwaite kicking old school rpg
elmuerte replied to elmuerte's topic in Video Gaming
I case people haven't been following the kickstarter, a lot of additional information has been made public. So the old school part of the game mostly refers to the combat style, it's turn based and stuff. See update #6 -

It's not retro. It's about classic style games. -
Idle Thumbs 77: Our Neighbor Scoops
elmuerte replied to Jake's topic in Idle Thumbs Episodes & Streams
yep, Saints Row 3 doesn't really try to make fun of anything. It's like the movies Shoot 'em up and the Expendables series.
