Instead of MP3gain, use Foobar2000. It does replaygain for most audioformats that support it. It's not just a player.

To get back to Borderlands 2. I've played B1 purely as a single player game, as for B2 I mostly played it as single player, I've played coop with 8bit a couple of times. Coop is nice, but when I'm playing a game for the first time I really want to explore the whole space. This isn't really great when playing coop, there you simply want to kick as with your buddy as much as possible. So for a second playthrough of B2 I will probably enjoy coop much more, I've seen it all, all I want to do now is chew bubblegum.

Neither do I. I feel left out. btw, is nobody going to mention the fact that the Pist-on is not the steambox? As for the question regarding not being able to get invested into a single game that much anymore. I sort of have that too, but there are multiple reasons. One of the major reasons is that some games demand a lot of time if you want to play it. You cannot really jump in a play for a little while because you need to reach a certain checkpoint first. So you have to keep playing until an unknown point where you can save and quit. For example Borderlands has this where you can loose a lot of progress in a level when you quit halfway. This really puts me off to play some games during the week. An other reason, which doesn't happen that often, is that some games really suck me in for a long time, and because I need to work the next day I don't want to risk playing games right up to the point I want to go to sleep, because my mind keeps processing the game preventing me from getting a good nights sleep. Most recent example of this would be Tropico 4. I played that last weekend, and before I knew it hours have passed. And of course there's the number of games that are simply not enganing enough to play for long periods, so I need a break from those for a while and then continue.

I liked LEGO Star Wars, I liked LEGO Indiana Jones, I hated the LEGO Batman game. So far, I enjoy LEGO LOTR. I will probably hate LEGO Marvel something or the other. I will probably like LEGO Back to the Future and LEGO Jaws. Oh man... LEGO Jurassic Park

It's missing quite a few Humble Bundle games which also have Linux builds. I think there are at least 10 missing that could easily be added. Then there's the missing stuff from Epic (Unreal1, UT, UT2003, UT2004), quite a bit of Id Software backlog could be added (specially the dosbox powered games like Doom). So with a little investment from a bunch of people the number of games could easily be doubled.

We can always extend the timeframe when it's needed. But right now I think we should reduce it to 1 week.

yes/no. Ananas is family name to which the ********* belongs to. So it is an English word. Actually, ********* is even an incorrect name, because they don't grow on pinetrees. Of course the rest of the world calls the fruit something like Ananas, only the English are weird.

I like how big picture mode: - is unfit for anything except 16:9; why is it even letter boxed? - assumes you have an xbox360/xinput controller; half the functionality doesn't work with directinput controllers - doesn't support multi monitor (like so many other games); it doesn't lock my mouse within it's fullscreenness, and I cannot select which screen it should use

I think *********s are much better than oranges. Sure, you cannot peel them as easily, but the other features are great.

I recently bought a Boogie Board (The Original). It's amazing it's like writing on a small whiteboard, except that you cannot easily make partial corrections, also the contrast is not as good. The lifetime is also much less than a small whiteboard. Even though it's electronic you cannot export what you have written, there is a much more expensive version that does allow it. Compared to a whiteboard it is also much much more expensive (regular price for the small one is about 40 euros). But other than that, it is amazing

Today marks the last day of my vacation. Tomorrow it is back to TPS reports. There we're two things I wanted to do this vacation: - Finish up my house some more - Reduce my backlog I failed at both. I've played a lot of games, but due to humble bundle and the steam sale my backlog hasn't reduced at all. And due to this I still haven't done some of the things in my house. Ah well, that's what vacation is for.

Steambox will be like Windows 8 except it has Steam as storefront instead of Windows Store. Because you're basically going to boot Linux into Steam's bigscreen mode.

It's not really UPlay, it's ubisoft's hate for PC gaming which needs to be fixed before I will start buying ubisoft games again. As long as ubisoft is branding PC gamers are pirates I won't buy their products.
