The Dark Eye: Chains of Satinav A point and click adventure game by the makers of Deponia, and Edna & Harvey. The art is quite beautiful. The story is interesting, but sometimes a bit corny. This adventure game is much more like the classic adventure games, it involves quite a bit of pixel hunting and figuring out combinations of objects. I did enable the hits to get points of interest because pixel hunting is quite a task in this game due to the fidelity of the art. The puzzles start off quite logical and easy, but there are a bunch of illogical puzzles, and there are a few puzzles that really require you to think. In the end I did need to resort to brute forcing a solution. Anyway, I had 9 hours of fun trying to finish this game. It's not really a must play, but it is enjoyable. (unless you're not into point and click adventure games).

On second thought, that monitor doesn't look that good. It's suffering from ghosting a lot.

I think they did do quite a good job in making the episodes spoiler free. It's really mostly about creating the game, and barely about the game itself.

HE! Leave those blues alone, they did nothing wrong. They don't deserve a beating.

Is there a penalty for turning away people (with exception of that guy you are asked to turn away)? Because rejecting is the fastest action possible, therefor highest throughput, and thus the most money.

I don't think it's only about getting worse, at some period people are getting bored about the sequels and want something new.

Rush I'm considering this one completed. I've only got the 5 hidden levels, the bonus challenges, and the potato levels to complete. But I did all the easy, medium and hard levels. Those bonus challenges are really difficult. Easy and medium was quite easy. Hard because quite tough, took me quite a while to figure them out. The remaining challenges are quite difficult. Either way, it's a pure puzzle game. You have to guide moving blocks from start to finish, without them to collide with other moving blocks. I rarely finish pure puzzle games because at some point these puzzles games start to rely on speed and agility. This isn't the case with Rush, the puzzles simply become more difficult to solve. For <5 euros it's quite a good price for the amount of fun I had.

Quitter's Club: Don't be ashamed to quit the game.
elmuerte replied to Tanukitsune's topic in Video Gaming
oh right... I also have that one on my list of games to finish. I can't recall why I even bought it. I did finish Infamous 1, which I got in exchange for having my private info leak. -

Something tells me he has done something like this before. Awesome stuff -
Finished a second playthrough, did much better. Everybody survived and I even had savings. You really have to work fast otherwise you can't process enough to make rent, heat and food.
