It's more like $400. But that's not really the point, of course they want to sell their products. It's just a good detailed articled that provides a ice way to compare the various settings and relative performance impact (for nvidia, no idea how amd cards are affected).

Then explain the Full Throttle 3D plans?! on second thought, might be best not to

If you have nvidia this guide may help you make the important tuning decisions: http://www.geforce.com/whats-new/guides/just-cause-3-graphics-and-performance-guide On my rather dated i7-2600 with GF760 the first 10 minutes ran at 35+ at 1920x1200 with most at high, LOD on medium. So I guess I need to tweak my settings when I'm going to play it. Looking at the guide turning off GI would be the first thing as the FPS difference is huge but looks are not that much affected.

No, we'll have none of that. First Full Throttle 2, then maybe a Brutal Legend 2. I'm backing Psychonauts 2. I've had so much fun playing the first one a couple of times (3 or 4 times I guess). As long as there's no Meat Circus debacle.

Nope, it's right there next to the Plutonium PAK

I played a lot of the original Worms with my brother and we only knew about the rocket launcher. It wasn't until much later than we discovered that there were other weapons available.

I had a few of those encounters. The best ones are the possible synth clone encounters. Everything I see people I have to Q to see if it's raiders.

Idle Thumbs 238: From Earth to Pluto

Unreal Tournament Demo lived really long. I ran a bunch of Unreal Tournament servers in 2000 up to the point UT2003 came out. One of them was a demo server which was seriously active up to the point we shut it down. People playing nothing but the 5 maps it included for years. (It was not possible to mod the demo without messing with it, the allowed content is hardcoded) -

I have like 20 or 30 pairs of the same kind of black puma sport socks. No sorting. Just pick any two.

Idle Thumbs 236: Twenty-Year-Old Weird House

Also, not one that is in the lair of the Brotherhood. -
So I spend a shit load of time filling up hangman's alley with a multi story living quarters with heavy defense. The alley is really packed. I have no idea why I did that. It currently has 3 settlers. My sanctuary apparently filled up in the mean time. Need to add beds. Also, while I was messing with my base at the drive-in some flew over and crashed way in the distance. The crash sites glows in the dark. I'm sure it's

I can confirm that you don't have to play any of the "replay" missions, or fully upgrade your base. Just do a major mission or side-op and return to the base, and another mission and return to the base. Returning to the base is the important part, in some cases you are pulled back automatically. But other times you explicitly have to go there to trigger a bit of story stuff.

Idle Thumbs 236: Twenty-Year-Old Weird House

They grow up so fast. OMG WHAT JUST HAPPENED. -
Base building is kind of annoying. Fencing your base takes quite some time, and the snapping logic isn't that great. Why can't it simply snap, and then let me freely turn it around the snapped point. It's almost just as annoying as GTAV's building thingy.

I now have 3 power armors and I haven't used any of them besides the initial mission. -

It looks like I'm doing this again (now in Fallout 4): -
So I fenced the shit out of my sanctuary after super mutants attacked it. So that appears to be a thing. Dogmeat is quite annoying in a lot of cases, moving in the way block doorways and stuff. Or worse, running of in some direction and waking ghouls. Here's my dog

you are aware that killing the babes is usually a trigger for monster spawners?

21 hours in, haven't even visited the main city yet. I'm not going to use fast travel, so I have to walk to everywhere. One thing that bugs me a bit is that traps often disappear when they kill you.

Ok then.
