Quitter's Club: Don't be ashamed to quit the game.

Far Cry 2: -
I just can't not get involved whenever language comes up

Oh sorry, I wasn't thinking since the connection had been mentioned indirectly earlier. Thanks, tabacco, for acting quicker than me since I was AFK. It's an excellent name, though.

Never change, toblix.

One is F. Nick Breckon.

I like to read Breaking Bad as

Ahahah. I saw a Conan O'Brien interview where what's-his-face Frasier actor spent a while claiming 'flaccid' should be pronounced /ks/. Silly man. I bet he's a lot of fun at dinner parties.

Those two are far more recent developments and 'I could care less' especially is still mostly regional and the only one of the three that's actually illogical. It's not a lost cause yet, unlike 'it begs the question', which fell victim to its wording. There's simply a far more common use-case where the words work fine. The meaning has changed completely in common usage. It would be good for people to know that it has a different meaning in historical and academic texts, but using it with the original meaning in a day to day discussion would serve no purpose apart from confusing people. For 'having your cake and eating it too', only two words have changed place, no-one is confused about its meaning and the actual sentence isn't illogical unless you choose to read it that way. So it's pretty pointless to try to rollback the wording 70+ years.

Nobody ever says that, Rodi, so that isn't the idiom. The original order doesn't imply a sequence of actions (1. Has cake 2. Eats cake) but concurrently having the cake and eating it, which is not possible.

Quitter's Club: Don't be ashamed to quit the game.

I finished it on PS3 and have no quibbles apart from some bugs that forced me to load earlier saves. The respawning thing is the same on every platform. The best way to avoid it is to not backtrack. Actually, I think I encountered those snipers as well, but I was too enamoured with the game to let them bother me too much The first Far Cry I finished by finding a no clip cheat and stabbing everyone through the floor... These days I'm happy if I have the initiative to start playing games I buy, let alone finish them. -

The ending is lovely, he should finish it Also, if he already loved it, he doesn't need anything to make him like it more. -
Huh. Really hard to say. It depends on how disappointed you'll feel if it isn't quite as good as you'd like. There's some good stuff in the second season, but also plenty of cartoonish aspects.

It's supposed to be the best one. The first Season of Luther was really good. I wish Elba was in every show. Unfortunately, the second season went off the rails.
-
Oh, hey, that's my very own name in there!
-
It's still not enough.

I stopped watching that at some point and now saw the first episode of the previous season a couple of days back. It wasn't cheesy enough for me. The actual "burn" plot has never been very interesting and that episode at least was all about that and very serious. I think the show is at its best with really kooky cases and as much humour as they can manage to cram in it. Does it get back to episodes like that or does it now think it's a serious spy show?

One of these days I'll actually show up for a Thumb meetup. But not this Autumn.

You forgot your own store!

They detail the character modeling and process in this thread: http://www.doublefin...iewthread/7542/ They use an example that's not going to be in the game. I think the little clip at the end looks amazing, but it's skeletally animated just like the BS animations.

Hmm, I'm not sure I'm happy with how that post of mine reads. It just felt like this thread was becoming a recap of the other one. Here's what's going on with Assange: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-19377110 More of the same that is. Look at that picture! If only the guy looked the tiniest bit more sympathetic, this debate would probably be different But it's so easy to believe that guy probably did exactly the sorts of things he's accused of.

I didn't get that you were proposing funding the game purely through cosmetic items, sorry.
