What the hell happened around the 55 minute mark, oh my god There's like 5 minutes of everybody screaming at once about farts. -
Maybe I'll play on Easy for a while.
-
Well, this version of Half-Life. Valve would've killed this ages ago if they were going to.

The Idle Book Club 1: The Sense of an Ending

I just don't see that from what I read. -
He looks a lot more like just a guy in armour rather than mostly robotic.

Agreed. It's entertaining, but I had forgotten its existence until you mentioned it now.

The Idle Book Club 1: The Sense of an Ending

I have to agree with the criticisms regarding Veronica's character. She spends so much of her own time dealing with Tony, which is clearly unpleasant for her, but she draws it out by being completely unhelpful. She doesn't seem to care whether Tony understands or not, and he couldn't when she hands him red herrings one after the other, but she drives Tony around London and let's the situation go on for months. Also, regarding who's the protagonist, I feel the book is about memory, self-image, remorse and old age. The subject matter is thought processes. That there is this conventional drama that acts as a catalyst for how Tony starts thinking about his past and character doesn't make him less the protagonist. The book isn't about Adrian, Veronica and her mother. -
But also fix black bar spoilers, which are superior. They are enticing.

I've been playing FTL since Kickstarter customers got the beta. It's one of those things... Of course I'm dying because I'm making bad choices, but I never see what I could have done differently. At some point the game just throws encounters at me I can't survive and running away just means you're so weak you'll die very soon anyway. I don't know how I'm supposed to gain from the encounters without just finding the non-combat ones that give you stuff through sheer luck.

For most of history it would have made more sense for him to just wear some kind of hat that hides his face. I always thought he didn't fit in at all in the 16th C era stuff either. Not that I have played any of the games.

Presumably by the same path his genes did? EDIT: Let's all post at once, why don't we?

That's just a still from Blade Runner.

Does 'swallow's nest' mean something else in this context? Or just crap held together with bird spit?

Can I put in an anti-pledge that takes money from them so that the soundtrack doesn't happen?

Huh? Generally there would be an alarm and guards all over the place. -
Why would you recommend the cursed place?

How is that a robust system

Man, if that situation happened for me, I would just feel my relationship slipping away, because I know that isn't me. But if you think you can hack it, go for it. Something like four years ago I had a crush for a woman who was into polyamory and they had this group of three people I probably joined. I didn't know about it when I developed the crush, so it was pretty shocking to find that out after she had been receptive to my clumsy advances I never really considered going forward with it, though, since for me that polyamory thing was just an immense turnoff. It doesn't sound like it's the same for you. Your friend is going to be pretty cross with you if you don't pick her.

That would be telling.

That big gate reminds me of something, but I can't quite put my finger on it.

I would love a HD version of Wings. By that I mean this game:

The enhanced edition is a 14-year-old game upgraded to work in a 12-year-old engine? That doesn't sound like much.

I dunno if there are tons of capable voice directors looking to work for nothing.

Come on, they are never going to come out and say DRM is pointless or only hurts customers. Even if they actually believed that and acted accordingly, they would give some other reason for it. These companies want to present a unified front against piracy and won't ever back away from that.
