The Outsider is just rubbish. Speak quicker.

They're not that weird to me. Playing video games and looking at movies just makes you expect everybody to look like dolls. I've seen people who looked weirder than many of the characters in this game.
-
That's problematic, though. You want to be careful with some people. I've had people spill the beans drunk, for example. So you don't want just any idiot in on it.

The Business Side of Video (Space) Games EXCLUSIVELY ON IDLE THUMBS

Jedi Knight is pretty fucking cool. Playing that game always made me wish it was a bit less Doom. I wanted to talk to people. I felt like I was in Star Wars, even if the architecture was unlikely. -
Man, how do you not like that art style and setting? The story isn't much, and the world isn't really credible, but damn it looks and feels terrific. I love the faces. My Shephard could be in this game:

Now there's a slim chance of an actually good Star Wars movie at some point. And god I hope the original cuts of the films surface on Blu-ray.

I'm reading Ian Bogost's Persuasive Games and the damn fool writes video games in one word.

I can't wait to see that movie. I actually hadn't seen that picture, but how could it be anything else? I looked, and there was a new trailer I hadn't seen, so thanks!

Quitter's Club: Don't be ashamed to quit the game.

Don't forget money. -
That looks pretty sweet

I bet Forbin could do that Office Space heist without fucking up.

If someone liked The Darjeeling Limited they should definitely check out The Life Aquatic. Darjeeling didn't feel quite as successful, but I should see it again.

30€ + tax is pretty damn cheap. I'm definitely buying it. I ordered an SSD a few days ago, when that arrives next week I'll install this and see how I like it.

That's Robert Florence of Consolevania in case someone didn't make the connection. EDIT: And Videogaiden, Cardboard Children, Downtime Town and a bunch of TV comedy you would probably not believe a video game journalist was involved with. -
I visited Far Cry 2 once, but the screenshot I got from that session wasn't all that great. XCOM simply takes all the time I feel like giving to gaming. XCOM is a challenge and a responsibility, Far Cry 2 is an escape I can't afford while the god damn Chrysalids prowl the Earth. Regarding your advice about gamma & such, I don't recognize your Far Cry 2 as my Far Cry 2 :X To me, it looks excellent, and the low contrast seems to be an artistic decision and not a technical one. Looks more real and fitting to me without any special settings. If the designer wanted to have the game flooded with colors & contrast he would have just set it on some tropical Middle American island or something.

I bet my bike's lock is going to be frozen in the morning.

I would never play anything else if there was a Far Cry 2 co-op. But it's not happening. Far Cry 3 is a far more conventional game and it does have co-op, but it's I don't think it has any free roaming component.

Tried to make up for or actually done that?

I thought he was a robot or something. -
AFAIK there are zero Far Cry 2 mods of note. It's the furthest thing from a mod friendly game. Such a tragedy.

XCOM as a shooter gets a free pass now that they actually made a proper XCOM.
