  1. Incognita

    Not random, procedually generated.
  2. Broken Age - Double Fine Adventure!

    But... They're the press.
  3. Broken Age - Double Fine Adventure!

Sweet Jesus. I can't wait. How crazy that Banner Saga is out today as well.
  4. Life

I've lived in Helsinki for close to a year now and damn I miss a proper winter. Helsinki is like a darker Glasgow at winter. A bit of snow and moderately cold weather is much more livable than this.
  5. The threat of Big Dog

    ED209's new trousers.
  6. Movie/TV recommendations

I like that trailer. However, I doubt there's much more to enjoy in that project. Jokes like that don't keep for an hour and a half. Or ten minutes.
  7. It's not a bug, it's a feature.
  8. Broken Age - Double Fine Adventure!

I finally saw the new episode yesterday. Man, this just looks so good. Better everytime I see more. Only a couple weeks left!
  9. nidhogg - Steam release 1/13/14

    Pffff, I don't believe you. What's next, Half-Life 3?
  10. A slow motion cat, a laser pointer and fresh snow.
  11. The threat of Big Dog

They need to teach that C Darpa challenge winner judo. It could take down all the other robots with those crazy arms.
  12. Life

It's a reference to batman! Of the Adam west variety. That would make a goddamn excellent t-shirt. Would probably sell better than a print as well.
  13. Return of the Steam Box!

http://imgur.com/gallery/LpuE8 Damn that case is sleek. You wouldn't believe the monstrosity under my desk. It's a project I left unfinished. Totally open with a 20cm fan on the side.
  14. Yes, it is. It's like asking someone to prove the novel is worth a damn using citations from The Da Vinci Code.
  15. Yeah, but the explanation was "We were just very lazy."
  16. The threat of Big Dog

    Sentences that are horrible:
  17. No Man's Sky

I want a new Noctis IV too. I bought MirrorMoon because it's inspired by Noctis (though it's definitely its own thing). I'd be happier with this if there were no hints of combat etc. That would make it easier to go wild with the procedural generation too.
  18. Feminism

I don't understand why people think breasts are composed of body fat. Body fat doesn't secrete milk. But anyway, this is just broken whether it's a physics simulation or not. It doesn't look slow motion, just weird. Rodi's description is accurate, it's as if there's an invisible line tied to each nipple and connected to the big toe.
  19. Broken Age - Double Fine Adventure!

What's Community Man doing there being a dick?
  20. Building a home theater...

My monitor is connected to a Marantz receiver. I would definitely notice input lag when using the mouse etc. but it's non-existent. AFAIK my receiver doesn't do anything to the image apart from passing it through.
  21. Gone Home from The Fullbright Company

That would be a very good reading of Gone Home using Bogost's own damn concept of "procedural rhetoric". I have his book and it's really weird how blind his Gone Home review is. It's like he's forgotten everything he has written previously.
  22. Far Cry 2

Also, adjusting the difficulty according to your ability changes the game a lot. For me, it's completely different on Medium compared to the next difficulty. More hectic, harder to predict, more rewarding. The hardest difficulty was a bit too much.
  23. Feminism

  24. I think you also need a separate Youtube account with a British location.
