Either these ridiculous one-idea picture blogs have became very popular fairly recently or then I just haven't paid much attention to the "phenomenon" before. Some of them are quite good (and some are probably mentioned here already): Moustair Teenage Mutant Ninja Noses Celebrities without Eyebrows etc.

I'm guessing the key to finding that video creepy or bizarre or harrowing is recognizing the picture on the wall. The thing felt quite meh-ish to me. The original(s) are still gold.

Does anyone know what is Valve's stance towards these kind of services? Is it likely that they will prevent people from activating the keys at some point due region restrictions or whatever? Selling the Russian versions at least seems a bit sketchy. -
People were literally screaming for help all around me, but I was too busy doing 180°, so it was actually more like: "Please! Somebody help me!" "Augmented Reality Training activated" "Augmented Reality Training failed" "Augmented Reality Training activated" "Augmented Reality Training failed" "Help! They are going to kill me!" "Augmented Reality Training activated" "Augmented Reality Training failed" "Augmented Reality Training activated" "Augmented Reality Training failed" "...." "Augmented Reality Training activated" "Oh God, not the tire iron!" "Augmented Reality Training failed"

Yeah, finished it eventually. I was expecting something cool as a reward for the advanced ones and was severely disappointed. Otherwise the game has been very good so far.

I played a bit of this today. At the moment my GotY candidates are The Witcher 2, Deus Ex: Human Revolution, and Portal 2. Probably but not absolutely in that order. However, I'm yet to play Batman: Arkham City and Skyrim which, I suspect, could just win the thing.

Weird! And it's so easy to fit in too! All you have to do is to dislike zombies... which seems like a complete no-brainer anyway. (rimshot)

Since it isn't mentioned here yet: Enslaved lead designer is apparently working on this game. I don't what the implications are.

This I can agree with completely. I never used melee in Uncharted 2 unless I absolutely had to. In Uncharted 3, on the other hand, I've been fistfighting constantly. It's simply be the best way to take out enemies that are close to you, and you are not punished for it too much, i.e. the other enemies don't immediately shoot you to death. However, I'm still shit with the controller – especially since every fucking game has different button layout – so I'm not using the environment to my advantage as much I'd like to.

I'm perhaps a halfway through Uncharted 3, and I haven't seen too many points where I can avoid gunplay. I'm not sure if that's such a big issue though since, in my opinion, the controls don't lend themselves to pure stealth very well, and most of my attempts at sneak attack have failed when Nathan simply refuses to grab the enemy that is behind a cover or something and reveals himself instead. At this point, dozens of enemies start pouring from every orifice of the arena, which is of course not a punishment nor a reward but simply ridiculous and stupid and in many cases very unconvincing and out-of-place. Still, good games. Just not that good stealth games, in my opinion.

Dead Island fails to live up to its name and is in fact alive

Psst.. He does. Read a bit further. -
I'm getting face eating zombies, constant struggle for survival and not much else from this trailer. It is as if they extracted all the things I hate about Uncharted and made a game with just those things.

I think completely new setting and protagonist has been confirmed on many occasions. This is quite interesting, if legitimate. I'm still hoping for industrialization era London, though.

At least, it wasn't the Templars this time around. Oh, wait..

Yeah. My other advice is to only go outside on daytime. Which is from May to September or something. Also.

I have played an hour or so of this. Definitely an Uncharted game, for better or worse. Looks great (although, PS3 has really started to so its age at this point), plays quite well and then someone decides that a reasonable number of bodyguards spontaneously chasing a little kid on the rooftops is hundreds.

A travel tip for Norway – from someone who has never been to Norway – is to have enough money in your pocket at all times. From what I have understood, things can be quite expensive there compared to... well, most of the world.

Finally finished The Tin Drum. Only took me half a year or something when I usually read one book in a month or two. The ending was good but doesn't make up for the horrible time I had with the rest of the book. Looking forward to enjoying books again.

Yeah, I know. I just can't escape the weird Lady Gaga Signature Perfume* vibe. I'd be interested to taste that coffee though, if only because fresh coffee has a potential to be excellent. * Which, as Google tells me, exists and will not smell like blood and semen. Good, I guess.

I was hoping that David Lynch Signature Coffee wasn't an actual thing. Apparently it is.

I don't know how much it costs on Play.com, but perhaps you check Amazon.co.uk. I haven't had any problems with them in the past. Incidentally, this is the third time I will never buy anything from The Hut again. I always forget that the cheap price tag comes with a price: I'm willing to accept the longish delivery times but having to wait 5 days for them to actually ship the order is just stupid.
