David Lynch's Josh Brolin's Campo Santo's Fire Watch With Me: A Motion Picture Event

Jesus, that art is just ridiculously cool! I hope there is still a chance to buy the print. -
David Lynch's Josh Brolin's Campo Santo's Fire Watch With Me: A Motion Picture Event

I'm blown away by the fact that Campo Santo's first game is actually a Gone Home spin-off. Considering that connection, I suspect that once you have put out the forest fire, you still have to deal with (i.e. bust) the ghosts of the people that were lost in the fire. -
I really liked how The Wolf of Wall Street let you genuinely laugh at all that outrageous shit without constantly playing ominous music on top of all the partying (with one notable exception). It made the "hangover" bit much more effective. Most enjoyable movie I have seen in a while.

Ugh.. I'm not, so I will post an old and lame one. Please, refrain from answering if you have already heard this. Unless you know a riddle that is actually good, in which case, knock yourself out. A girl went to her grandmother's funeral. At the gathering after the burial service, she met a man that she really fancied. They were not related. They talked for some time and seemed to have a lot in common. They promised to keep in touch. When she got home, she found out that she had lost the business card he had given her. She couldn't even remember his name! What is more, she had not given him her contact details. Two days later she killed her sister. Why?

Close (I assume). A train tunnel made him think that the effect had only been temporary. What a stupid man.

Heh, I was about to propose that solution yesterday but decided not to because I wasn't quite convinced by the equatorial sun / four seasons assumption it involved. Perhaps more importantly, because of the nature of this thread, I was expecting some kind of an exact solution (similar to what Zeus and Rodi proposed). 1-2 leaves on average sounds perfectly reasonable though.

Yes! Since Thi4f was apparently a disappointment, I need my stealth game fix real bad.

Walking Dead, Mark of the Ninja, Bioshock 2, The Cave vets form Campo Santo

You play as the last human being in the world decimated by advertising robots. You must scavenge billboards for building material, set up fortifications and defend yourself against "targeted advertising" by Big Dogs and Petmen long enough to finish your epitaph for humankind. Also, awesome work Tylea002! -
That was a majestic stream! I'll give it 3 out of 3 Jakes.

Thanks for the heads-up! I have been meaning to re-read Slaughterhouse-Five for some time now. The one image that has stuck with me the longest (though not in any detail, it now appears) is the scene where Billy Pilgrim is lying in a hospital bed listening to a man lecture him about Dresden and how the Allied firebombing of the city was necessary and Billy finally agreeing with him. I have read all Vonnegut novels save two, and they have all been quite sad or depressing or even cynical - some more than others obviously - but also very human.

I backed up the previous Amnesia Fortnight as well but never got around to watching the videos. This stuff is great! All four game seem pretty cool! I'm really impressed (having no experience with game making whatsoever) how fast they are putting this stuff together. I'm also glad that Derek doesn't seem as stressed and depressed anymore. Yeah, that was the best! Pendleton is really fascinating to me. Also, can we replace with Brad's face on this forum?

That final choice was incredibly effective for me for a different reason:

Einstein's Dreams was a huge disappointment for me as well. Invisible Cities has been sitting in my Kindle for ages now. Maybe I should finally read it.

Weird, why? Also, oh my god, plasma cannon as a random drop!

Sounds awfully complex. Here is something to balance it out:

I'm pretty sure that he's not here to see it.

That suck. For some reason, Spelunky didn't record the Daily Challenge score and time for my first successful Olmec run yesterday.

Finally beat Olmec! Woo!
