First Tuesday of May is official Licorice Appreciation Day here in Finland.

You were the most popular dude in the world but you blew it by being so cold and distant. When did you become such a fucking diva?
-
No it doesn't.

If I remember correctly, I spent my free episode coupon on Moai Better Blues and never bought the entire second season because of it.

I think "motion sickness problems, preference of PC controls [...], not having an HDTV, etc." are good examples of why someone (apparently not Miffy then) might prefer the PC version. I read your question as you (passive) and could have given the same examples. I don't see how JonCole was being arrogant with that post.

I agree with Rodi on this one. There is something truly astounding about a physicist who wonders why everyday objects shouldn't follow the rules of quantum mechanically, then goes on to show that (what appears to be) a NEMS/MEMS cantilever, something that you definitely can't see all that well with an unaided eye, acts quantum mechanically in ultra-high vacuum and ultra-low temperatures. Had he explained (properly) why he had to create these conditions, then he would also have answered his own question why true everyday objects don't appear to "follow the rules of quantum mechanics". He is probably a talented scientist and very smart guy overall, but his talk was pretty horrible. I think he would have been much better off without all that brain and interconnectedness of all bullshit. I bet the thing would have worked better had its dimensions followed the golden rule. Maybe the worst part for me was his however subtle hint that the (quantum) leap from a single particle to his cantilever is about the same in magnitude as from his cantilever to something of our size. The only thing I was left wondering after his talk was what was the device he had to build to release the cantilever. I hope it wasn't a simple wet etcher.

And Tifa's tits grow two bra sizes for the final scene! So, um.. I just began reading The Tin Drum. Lots of pages that one. Edit: I'm glad this ended up on a new page.

Nice! If the PC port is any good, I will definitely get that, as it would be much more convenient for me. I hope they won't fuck it up this time.

What's wrong with you people?

VGTRI2ja1ro Has this been posted? I'm not sure. If it has, here is what you do: Post the same video again, pretending that you didn't know that it has been posted before. Multiple people should do this just to be sure.

...And I am Shogun. Surprisingly challenging even on the easiest difficulty. I don't know if I dare to play the next campaign on normal yet. I don't really like the end game bitchiness that much, but I guess something is bound to happen when someone is so clearly pushing to become a shogun. It is just a bit too much to lose all your allies and trade partners (and therefore a hefty part of your income) in a single turn and realize that you now have to worry about attacks on all fronts (and shores, apparently ). First time I actively used navy or agents in a Total War game. By the time my ninja died of old age he had probably killed more than 50 generals and acquired a neat devil mask. Looting trade routes became an excellent source on income after realm divide. Didn't play any of the battles in real time after the first two, though. At least some things have remained the same.

I bought this gorgeuous game a while ago, and I have to say this is very likely the best Total War game I have ever played. Talk about positive streamlining. This game is a massive improvement over Medieval II and Empire in terms of campaign map stuff. I understand where my money and food is going now! Furthermore, the autoresolve seems to work much better now. I started playing the campaign on the easiest setting, the fastest speed (or was it? I have to hold 25 provinces) and with clan on the far left. I have ten years left, I'm a couple of provinces from Kyoto and I have something like 20 provinces. Is there any way to not make every clan declare a war on me as I become more legendary? What is the best tactic for the end game hell.

Yeah, I still haven't quite figured out the climbing and dropping off ledges stuff. Also, the horizontal camera movement was inverted by default which is very weird decision in my opinion. I can't find suitable the camera sensitivity settings either and have to choose between too fast camera movement while running and too slow movement while aiming.

I played this game some hours today after exchanging it for my personal details some time ago. It seems that every aspect of the game is a bit flawed in one way or another: the graphics are pretty horrible, the city colourless, the controls somewhat clunky, parkouring not as smooth as it should be and so on. Nevertheless, I'm still enjoying the game quite a bit for some reason. So far the open world stuff has been quite nice. For instance, I love the fact that I can actually free parts of the city from enemies permanently by doing the side missions. I thought I'd never say this but I'm actually considering buying Prototype Infamous 2. Based on the Quicklook the graphics, at least, have improved a great deal and New Orleans much more interesting and colorful setting than the bland New York of the first game.

A sort of an educational game where a dog or a fox or a wolf or some other animal taught you various things. In one mini-game you had to arrange segments of notes to correspond to the song the creature (in a baroque wig) played. I remember some of the challenges being quite hard, at least for two kids who didn't know English at all back then. The game wasn't complete shit unlike most of the educational games at the time (and still?) and as I recall it actually looked quite good. I will probably delete the last part immediately after seeing the screenshots.

Python, when you want reasonably sized things done quick and painless, I guess. Processing is really nice for prototyping visual stuff.

I'd buy it for the creators name alone. Seriously though, the game looks beautiful and fun (fun fun), and I will definitely get it when its out.
-
To me, Battlefield 3 looks more promising than the other modern war games but I'm still not sure if I'm going to buy it. For some reason I'm not that keen on shooting terrorists or whatever anymore. Maybe I'll still buy it when it's cheap, if only for the graphics.

This is the best! Embedded version for the lazy: xlIrI80og8c

I don't get it. Also, at least Alice is back on Steam.

I take exams a bit too seriously as well. I now know that I can make it through all of them, but I need to perform as well as I possibly can for my own sake and not for anyone else's, except for my employer's who jokingly demanded me to maintain my grade for the rest of my studies. Lots more responsibility and respect in work this summer. Enjoying the break from studies quite a bit.

I bought Crysis 2 and Hot Pursuit on EA Store some time ago and was actually very surprised by how lightweight easy to use EA Download Manager Origin was. I guess I'd still prefer my games to be in one place, though. Unfortunately, that's not the case even now, as Steam is often quite expensive compared to other stores or services.

Fun fact: Lord British spawned from one of Warren Spector's Robot Wars bot prototypes.

Jesus. Does it have a cover system as well?
