I wish you an extreme birthday! Live a little! Drink, party, get to know new people, then drink some more. Wake up with one kidney and live a little still.

Damn. That sounds like a really uncomfortable situation. Have you told your parents that you think buying and opening the store is a terrible idea and you absolutely don't want to do it? Also, if you happened to find another job now that you would be more comfortable with (and one which isn't doomed from the start), would the situation be resolved or have your parents already spend so much money on the store that you there is no backing down or something? Based on your description, to me, it seems like your best bet would be to come up with a job or at least some kind of career plan and explain to your parents why it is much better idea than the canned goods store. I know it is much more difficult than it sounds, though..

Just curious. So why didn't you build your own this time around? Even I managed to put everything together in a couple of hours with relative ease (ok, a friend consulted me a little). Figuring out which parts to get took some time of course, but you seem to have a pretty clear view of what you want.

Oh my, that is one ugly piece of hardware, but I guess it is pretty hard make that kind of stupid add-on look good no matter what. I was actually quite surprised by Nintendo's stubbornness not to include a second analog stick in 3DS despite the fact that gamers (and developers) are clearly used to and comfortable with it by now and the fact that it must cost practically nothing at all.

So basically you think it is a great game but feel that too many people think it is a great game?
-
Correction. The exclusive mission is integrated in the main mission: instead of a person giving you the information you need right away, you have to do him a favour first. Still, the mission is very short, a bit uninteresting and it doesn't reveal anything shocking. You won't miss much.
-
I'm not absolutely sure but I think none of those conversations had it. Go talk to the guy the drug stealer mentions. The ability was definitely active during that conversation.
-
You won't see it in all, or even most, conversations.
-
Nope. You wouldn't miss much and the content certainly doesn't go beyond normal bonuses. From what I heard (I haven't reached the point yet) the exclusive mission is a 5 to 10 minute side quest that isn't at all essential for the "complete experience". I found most of the exclusive items useless and they won't open up completely new gameplay possibilities. I have only used the silenced sniper rifle which, I would assume, you can make yourself later on by combining a sniper rifle and a silencer. I would still buy the Augmented edition though, because of the artbook and the soundtrack.

How can that be? WARNING!! PICTURE OF A SPIDER!
-
Oh, interesting. How did that work out (or is working out)?
-
At the moment, it seems like the work would be a part of some international project, which means that the schedule depends partly on the other participants – something I'm not really looking forward to, seeing how most people seem to do their part only when absolutely necessary. My perhaps slightly optimistic guess is that I would get it ready in six months or so. Um.. Was that even what you were asking?

I have to scoop the bodies from my syrup filled swimming pool at least once a month or else the pile would soon reach the diving board. I think Friday nights are the worst. Apart from that, everything is suddenly okay in my life after relatively bad news that didn't turn out to be that bad news after all. I got a measurement setup I've been building at work ready well before the school starts and I'm pretty pleased with the result. Only a few courses left before I start my Master's thesis on January.

I haven't, but I'm afraid it would be too clunky and ugly for me to really immerse myself into it. There are many hyped games that have not reached that state yet waiting for me to play them. But perhaps, I will play it if after Human Revolution, Hard Reset and some Gibson I still have a graving for cyberpunk. I really like the sandbox nature of the levels so far. Most games that seemingly give you choice only have two or three different routes you can take – say, the sewers or the scenic route. In Human Revolution (so far) it feels more like: "Ok, here is this giant facility. Find your way across somehow." There are a few specific routes that are more obvious and perhaps a bit easier, but those are by no means the only ways you can get through the area.

Holy shit! I didn't go back, partly because I thought that's not what a real person would do, but also partly because I assumed that would not even be possible. I'm really impressed that the police is actually gathering evidence or whatever because it would have been completely forgivable if they weren't. I was very impressed by the size and design of the police station you visit a bit later. And again, you can go everywhere.

We only have two seashells and one spoon (just like in that particularly nasty video).

Just reached Hengsha. Holy shit this is good shit! I have never played a game where the stealth is as rewarding and fun as in this one. I have had to repeat a couple of sections a multiple times, but I could only blame myself for it (as opposed to poor controls, cheating AI or unfair difficulty). Other random things I enjoy about this game: -Brand new abilities that actually let you play differently, instead of your regular minor stats boost on level-up. -The fact that "now" doesn't always mean "whenever you are ready" ( ) -Hacking a computer only to find a Nigerian bank scam email. -Absolutely ridiculous inventory system.

That chart is pretty confusing. How can HD 6950 outperform HD 6990 (which is more or less two HD 6950 taped together)? There should be no competition: http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/radeon-hd-6990-antilles-crossfire,2878-5.html Here's the latest Tom's Hardware's graphics card recommendations: http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/gaming-performance-radeon-geforce,2997.html

You may find your answer here.

Because it isn't? At least on Finnish Steam, you can only buy Desperados 2. You can find the original game on GOG, though, as has been said.

This was posted on these forums long time ago, so not all have probably read it yet: http://discovermagazine.com/2007/brain/i-chat-therefore-i-am

Desperados. Although, Commandos 2 is more beautiful.

I agree with the consistency. I wasn't too keen on the extensive present day references - such as the entire episode dedicated to Apple - on some of episodes on the newest season, but it's still quality stuff.

I think it was probably you. I have a similar talent of spotting which CSI episodes are directed by Quentin Tarantino, though. I have gone through most of Futurama in the past three weeks or so. Great series and I feel a bit dumb for not checking it out sooner. I guess my bad experiences with the Simpsons had kept me from approaching this before.
