So, Forza Horizon 3 has been pretty much dead since I joined but that isn't stopping me reviving the Xbox Live thread and this one to mention that I created an Idle Thumbs 'Club' in the new update. Don't know what that is? I am still not sure myself. Anyway, you can find the club by updating the dashboard and then going to the community part. If you look for Idle Thumbs, you should find it. I have sent invites to a few people that were on my friends list.

Well, this thread hasn't been used in a year... BUT. I did create a 'Club' in the new Dashboard update called Idle Thumbs. I've set it up so that other members (there are 3 right now) can invite people and sent an invite to anyone I know is/was an Idle Thumbs person. Not really sure how useful it is right now but I figured another outlet for Idle Thumbs branding might as well exist!

I bounced off of CQ2 and never went back, it felt like more of the same to me. However, my partner couldn't get into CQ but loved the sequel. We talked about it and it seems that they made CQ2 even more accessible for someone who doesn't play a lot of games. She found it easier to understand the game mechanics (she had never played an RPG before CQ) and the general level design made way more sense to her.

Nappi just added you as a friend (I am Twmacb) - looking forward to seeing people's race times etc. Also, there might be a few more people who join after that as a bunch of people now own copies of this. FH3 is even better than FH2, which I find shocking given that I thought FH2 was pretty perfect. Unlocking the Club section requires you to get a certain amount of the festivals unlocked. From a progression perspective it makes a lot of sense as the game has so much going on that if this was here from the beginning it might be too much. MaikaMonroe? She is awesome in It Follows!

I am liking the third season of Black Mirror but here is my criticism. The original episodes were about the corruption of people by the system. Even the prime minister is essentially a pawn to outside whims and the people that watch him go through his torture are becoming corrupted by media manipulation. This new series focuses on corrupt people being punished for their sins. It still works but I don't 'enjoy; the message as much.

Hmmm. Maybe it just was the game modes. Still, I can't afford to take that risk - 50 quid for a game that demo'd so badly is too much for me. Interesting Dewar, I think that Brad and Jeff both have tastes in games (except for Saints Row) that I strongly disagree with. Actually, I don't think I am particularly excited about any of the games that the Giant Bomb team enthuse about. Doesn't stop me from listening to them though as I appreciate their points, and sometimes (Saints Row) they turn me on to game that I really enjoy. They are so wrong about EDF.

Yeah, after playing Gears of War 4 and Titanfall 2 beta, and playing Far Cry 3... I am starting to realise that as much as I respect his opinions, I have very different tastes in video games to Gerstmann.

Actually, in your first run of any early Dynasty Warriors game, there are characters that you will not be able to beat. In DW2 especially, you often felt like the tides of war were shifting around you with you only contributing in small ways (defeating an office here and there). The first time you encounter Lu Bu, you have to run away from him. Of course that has all been dumped in later iterations with you just being a super powered guy that shifts the tides of war single handedly.

You too? My cousin came to visit us for a summer and he brought his copy of Sword of Vermilion so that we could play through it. He had memorised all of the dungeons so he just ran through them to the bosses. He also wouldn't let me play it without him being there. To an extent he would use this as a way to dominate what we did with our time as I was almost constantly wanting to play it and he straight up wouldn't let me. One day I lost my patience and put the game in and played through to one of the bosses. My cousin lost his shit and was really annoyed. He later rationalised it out by saying that I was incompetent and he was worried about me breaking his game. He left before we could finish the game and the terms 'Sword of Vermilion' and 'incompetent' are emotional scars seared into my brain.

I finished the game last night and liked it. The game is really pretty and the voice acting and script are a real pleasure. There was also an added glee to little touches in the game that, having listened to the podcast for so long, felt very Idle Thumbs. However:
