I just submitted my final project for the term! This ridiculously stressful 8-course term is finally and definitively over! I feel pretty good about things right now.

It's the sequel to Happy Action Theatre, which is the Kinect game that they've already released. I will now be brining my 360 and Kinect to a New Year's party I'm going to. Hell yes.

It also happens to be the day before I turn 25. I'm taking that as a signal that my 25th birthday should be full of Dub(lefine)step.

I'm in at the last minute! I got a PS Move on Black Friday sales, so now that I can check out JS Joust I'm stoked on this.

So I finished up my practicum on Friday, doing my very very best not to cry in front of a bunch of 6 year olds as they were hugging me and saying how much they'd miss me at the end of the day. According to my partner, I've been teaching in my sleep. She finds this cute, which I've told her to remember when it starts to become really annoying that I can't stop using my "teacher voice" when talking to her and our friends. I'll be going back to the school quite a bit over the next few weeks. Can't miss their play after I put so much time into helping the class rehearse, and they'll be building gingerbread houses on my birthday, so I pretty much need to be there for that. I'm going to miss going in every day though. I made a science unit based around getting magnets to complete various sporting events using knowledge of how attraction and repulsion work, and due to an extra play rehearsal, the final class of my "magnet olympics" got postponed to Monday, meaning I won't get to wrap up my own science unit with the class. That's a huge bummer for me, as they loved running the events so much and would run up to me to show me how high they could make a magnet jump or whatever. So good. The other two 1/2 teachers at the school even took my workbooks for that one off of my memory stick so that they could run the unit themselves, which is probably the biggest compliment I could ever receive as a student teacher. 4 more months and I drop that "student" part off of my job title. Excited as hell!

I am not a fan at all of the books. I had to work really hard to force myself to finish them. The movies were pleasant enough to watch, but after seeing them each once in the theatres I felt fine about never seeing them again. I can back brkl as "they're nothing special".

Oh man, what if they tagged out for it? Imagine Lara flipping over ledges and solving this huge elaborate puzzle, then a dude with a gun pops out so she fist-bumps Drake and he takes over for the next 20 minutes. Toblix, the world needs you to make this fan game.

If you're going to play any Rabbids game at all, I implore you, just play Rabbids Go Home. That game is rad as all hell. The rest? Not so much.

Do it. Get Pushmo, Crashmo, Kid Icarus, and Mario 3D Land to tide you over. Paper Mario is still awaiting a verdict from me, but hell if you don't have a 3DS yet and are the least bit interested, what are you waiting for? The system has proven itself a pretty good little device by now.

Ha. My partner has a habit of sitting in ridiculously uncomfortable positions for long periods of time without noticing. We call it "Mary Jane-ing" in honour of that cover. I've walked into a room in which she was sitting in that exact pose and had to explain why I suddenly burst out laughing.

Still own that box. I love that it comes up about every 10 pages during this thread, as enough time passes that people forget and then rediscover it. Not even trying to be a "old news hur hur" guy here, I actually love that.

The cable on my wired 360 controller decided to become extra finicky and only work if I hold it in a certain position, so about a month ago I dropped $15 on a receiver to go with the wireless 360 controllers I own due to owning a 360. Works great. Didn't know there were ever issues with it.

Tell work to go to hell?

I already own all these games, but intend to buy the bundle anyway to support THQ not exploding. Anyone want keys?

The last one was on PC, why is this not? What the hell, Sega?
