I don't think it will get much cheaper than 5€, it's probably even less if you use the code they have in their deal page.

Has anybody checked the video channel? They have a new episode of Kirby Right Back at ya in 3D and it seems to be promoting an upcoming Kirby 3D game? I still won't forgive Nintendo for NOT releasing the Kirby collection in Europe... T_T
-
So the sequel is at least goofy fun, but I should avoid the first game? I think I can get them separately too.

Greenmangaming is having a big Squenix sale. Hmm, I'm actually tempted to get the Kane & Lynch pack for 10€, they all seem to register on Steam too.

I don't remember a hard mode in the PC version I got from a indie bundle, I guess it's a 3DS exclusive? The PC version is a direct port of the iOS, which was already on "impossible" mode with it's virtual controls, yet easy on PC. I just beat Ni No Kuni and I have very mixed feeling, while I did enjoy it a lot, it's ridiculously "cookie cutter", it does so many of the JRPG tropes, but it does have it's original moment. The story has it's ups and downs, it was great right before the ending, but the ending was pretty disappointing. Gameplay wise, it also has it's problems, it's so very close to a Pokémon clone, but the thing it changes are for the worse, since you don't use Pokéballs enemies just have a capture rate, which is ridiculously low, even after spending your points on something that should make it easier that is only accessible when the game is almost over. And you're AI partner don't have an option for "conserve MP", so if you give them a companion with powerful spells their MPs will drain like crazy. It also sucks how little the creatures change from one "metamorphosis" to another. And yet, I enjoyed it quite a bit despite it's flaws...

Oh, silly me, I thought it was a more recent game, I didn't even know the eShop had a sale section. I'll probably get this and Liberation Maiden, but when Lobotomy said the combat was complicated it did worry me. Just how complicated is it?
-
Hmm, is this coming to the European shop? I couldn't find it in the eShop.

Recently I noticed how much modern technology is making gaming easier, back in the day you had to wait a while for a FAQ to load and then print it on a dot matrix printer, but now: -You can watch video walkthroughs on YouTube, because a picture is worth a thousand words and easier to understand than the text version. -You can read the walkthrough on your smart phone or tablet, so you never need to print another guide again, you can even watch the video walkthrough on it too. Even better you no longer need to write down those complex passwords, you just take photo of them and you're done. Do you have to do a Simon-esque minigame? You probably have something that can record the sequence in your pocket. You can take a screenshot of a map and edit it yourself (on a tablet) to remind of what you have left to do in that area and such. Some of these are probably pretty obvious, but have any of you found any other ways that modern technology had made a game easier or less frustrating? And no, rubberbanding doesn't count.

Hmm, I'm not that competitive, but maybe we should create a thread for the new game when it comes out for battles and trading in general. -

I'm not saying we should accept their standards, just acknowledge they are different, that is all. I never said to accept their differences, just accept they are different. Urg, I feel like we're arguing semantics now and since sexism is a subjective term it's a pretty stupid thing to do and I feel like I'm the "other side". I'm not saying anything more until it's out, what's the point anyway? I'm not trying to defend the game, I'm just saying this is probably the stupidest game to have the argument over and since I have a feeling people think I am defending the game it's time to call it quits... -
There is a retro game music bundle, with a lot of older PC soundtracks like Duke Nukem and Jazz Jackrabbit!

I've played enough Pokémon games to only need a guide when I'm stuck and don't know what to do, but that's about it. There are just too many for me too care to catch them all. -

Who does EV training unless they want to play semi-professionally? It's seems a ridiculously waste of time unless you want to enter a tournament. they still have those, right? -

No, it's when you grind in an RPG while doing something else, I'm pretty sure I'm not the only person who uses this term, since I've used it with others and they understood me. -
I remember having Catz which the cat version of Dogz, it's was like Nintendogs before Nintendogs and it they were one of those screen saver pets, right?

Yes, and we brought up the concept of false equivalence... and they seem to have shut up. Yes, I agree, it is not normal for OUR culture, it not OK for our culture and while I'm no expert, it's seems to OK and normal for them. Can we at least agree that a different country might have different views on sexuality and sexism? It's pretty sick and disgusting to us, but it's the truth. Heck, that's why we have different rating systems in each country, what could be PG in Europe, could be N-17 in America. -
I liked the first season of Young Justice, but the second one lost me, it felt like it was being dramatic for drama's sake, like most super hero comics I don't like to read, speaking of which. has anybody else seen the new Teen Titan's GO!? It's pretty funny.

YES! This is why I find this thread so frustrating, we can all agree it's sexist to sexualize a woman's character. We all know it, so want is the point of talking about it if nobody is arguing AGAINST this? All we've got from this is some minor gameplay trailers, and it looks like those old D&D arcade game from Capcom and according to the sparse Wikipedia article, the art designer had worked on that D&D game from Capcom and say they intend to "advance the genre" and make a game in that style. So, we can't really know what to expect from it apart from being a brawler, it's very likely to have RPG stats, that's about it? -

Really? I Saw Dasein just said he'd be embarrassed to play this game. I can't remember the last time I saw such a small title receive such negative attention, and for such a common thing in Japanese games, if not games in general. And like always, nobody has played the game.... Since it's brawler, there is no way they can justify her "sexualization" with a deep character, but Japan never does that... or most media in general, which is why I'm baffled this thread even exists. OK, I lie, this thread exists because Kotaku tried to drum up some views with it's controversial view on the game by claiming it was sexist drivel drawn by a horny teen, you know Kotaku, the site you go to to know the status of Hatsune Miku's panties and is constantly reporting on games ten times worse, but those are OK for some reason. You know, I think I'm angry at Kotaku more than anything else for being so hypocritical. -

I remember back in the Pokémon days I started to blind grind, well now that I have a tablet, the tables have turned I no longer have to blind grind with portable systems, I can simply watch videos or read books on my tablet while I grind. Geez, Americans have Hulu, TivoToGo and Netflix apps, blind grinding must be so much easier for them now. -

Well, that's the problem then, you just said it's a lesser instance, but everybody is treating this game like it's the kind they sell with a "love pillow cover" or like you just mentioned one of those games were you "touch" the ladies (by the way, I'm pretty sure you can do that in the game I just posted a video about, it is on the Vita and it does have touch screen). -

Um, the dwarf the least clothed character in the whole game. You know what if you guys are going to bash this game for being "disgustingly sexist", can we at least acknowledge that this is normal for Japan and that THIS is what an actual "pervy" game is like? -
Bah, Boom Studios has region locked the digital comic... They also blocked Regular Show, which also sucks.

That was the game that made start the "Cartoon logic" thread, since I kept seeing people not getting the puzzles, while I did. I just completed LEGO City Undercover 3DS and... I don't know what to say, they seemed to have dumbed down the game even more, which didn't seem possible, they removed features I loved and added stuff I hate... I'll try to summarize to make this a super long rant: -Gold bricks have been replaces with cop badges, gold for capturing the boss, silver for story mission and bronze for story missions. There are no longer rewards for collecting them all. -The level structure is gone since it's open world, but the open world seems lifeless compared to any of the hub worlds in other games. -Since you only play as one character, there is no co-op and you wear disguises with at least two powers, some which are almost never used during the whole game. -Collecting the badges is repetitive compared to other LEGO games, in the other games there would be at least some variety. The Fireman only rescues cats... -The game introduces a new type of brick to build structures, but you barely build anything in game in the old style. -You can't replay missions, you have to restart the whole game if you want to replay a specific section. -There is no reward for getting 100%, no secret level, character or vehicle... NOTHING! This is probably the first LEGO I've been really disappointed by, I really hope the LEGO Marvel game is more in the style of the traditional ones.

Are we even taking sides anymore? Are there even sides anymore? Most of the comments now just seems to be "LOL BOOBS!", only some of us are laughing at them, while other are laughing with them? *shrugs*
