In my most recent playthough I solved that by I had even
  2. Well, I need someone to blame for me having to watch The Fight...
  3. The Official Video Game Music Corner

I've examined the thread rules thoroughly, and it seems that as long as you are a "fan", those videos are permitted.
  4. Dammit, man, Course: Oblivion is episode 17, not 18. I just accidentally watched The Fight. The Fight, for heaven's sake!
  5. Life

NEVER! (Actually, I normally do, but I couldn't help myself here for some reason.) I'm guilty of both those deserts/forte confusions, though.
  6. Life

asks the question. "Begging the question" is a type of fallacy.
  7. An interesting development! I assume you don't give the guest reviewers the secret objective score formula...
  8. Yeah, it's a brilliant spin on that with an added satirical edge. Looking forward to your list, Jon! SAM, I keep meaning to mention this: thanks to your comments about how you identify with Harry Kim, I can't help but think of him as being you transplanted into a fictional work somehow.
  9. I'm still chugging through. I enjoyed the three remaining DS9 eps that I watched - the Kingon one, the sci-fi magazine one and the captain's log one. I'm generally enjoying the Voyager list, too. I just watched Living Witness and it was absolutely fantastic.

  11. Post your face!

    Your avatar says otherwise.
  12. The Official Video Game Music Corner

    Mmmm, that was really good.
  13. Comics Extravaganza - Pow Bang Smash!

I dunno, I think they're just the original paperback releases, so if those did I guess these will. One of them did have that little story about Man and Dog and Frog at the back... I'm still on SOD!
  14. Life

I just had live (online) banter with Tim Schafer. I now know some of what it's like being a Thumb.
  15. Comics Extravaganza - Pow Bang Smash!

Okay, thanks! The consensus is definitely that I'm safe. As I said on the IRC earlier, as long as it's not stuff like it's cool. That Dorkin one is fucking brilliant. On the strength of that I'm probably going to end up getting into BPRD too. I've read up to Seed Of Destruction ish 3, and I'm enjoying it a lot more than I did when I buzzed through a library copy of SOD years ago. Speaking of the IRC, I didn't see all of it but Nappi and JKO were exchanging links to cool Hellboy stuff, like the 20 Years Of Hellboy book and the oversized hardbacks etc. Post those here, guys, while it's still Hellboy Day! Here's a nice mini-interview with Mignola picking out his favourite pieces from the 20 Years book: http://io9.com/mike-mignolas-favorite-artwork-from-hellboys-last-20-1548974210
  16. Comics Extravaganza - Pow Bang Smash!

Oops, missed your post! Ok, thanks, have gone for it. If I enjoy it I may start picking up the BPRD stuff anyway...
  17. Comics Extravaganza - Pow Bang Smash!

It's Hellboy Day! Dark Horse are doing a digital megabundle, and I'm tempted. But I'm worried that I would need to start picking up BPRD titles as well for this run to make narrative sense - any Hellboy fans who can advise on whether these will work fine on their own(I'm guessing BigJKO can if no one else)?
  18. The Big LucasArts Playthrough

You haven't missed anything, possibly except that it was Domino who was struggling with Mercedes and that Manny wants to rescue her because he feels it was his fault that she ended up wandering the petrified forest alone after he pulled all his shenanigans (basically what Don yelled at him for in his office).
  19. The Big LucasArts Playthrough

    SPOOIIIILLLLERRRRS!
  20. The Big LucasArts Playthrough

Basically, both the sign and the tree puzzles are constructed as playing around with a system to see what effect you can have on it...
  21. Free to play: The Movie

Watched this, enjoyed it. It didn't tell me much I didn't know already even as someone who doesn't know much about DOTA at all, and it's sometimes very obviously constructed for an emotional story, but it's entertaining and rousing and it's only around 70 minutes so it doesn't outstay its welcome. I haven't watched the extras yet.
  22. Cartoons!

They're 3Ding Incredibles and Ratatouille, too. I'm expecting the Incredibles sequel to be poor.
  23. Put me on the reserves bench - if you get to 9 people and can't find a tenth, I'm your man!
