Just make a gif of the behind-the-scenes shots of Harrison Ford in Last Crusade petting and nuzzling the (iirc specially bred and trained) rats, and circulate that.

In case any backers missed it, there's a new doc episode and side-quest up. They're currently aiming for a Dec/Jan release of part 2.

I'm keeping an eye out for happy news stories to get it back on track but I haven't seen any! (I figure the announcement of Tremors 5 is too frivolous.)

Re. Cine's post, it was unclear if he'd be back in reading this thread even if he's not posting, but regardless I wanted to say to everyone that I hope that kind of drive-by fuck you go fuck yourself doesn't become commonplace. I like these forums because of the high level of discourse and the feeling that if I say something stupid or wrong-headed I'll get told why, not flamed to death for it. As for my opinion on Hatred, it's been pretty thoroughly covered by the discussion here already!

I think it messed up for me at the end. It was pretty cool, though. (Almost as good as The Often-Ending Story.)

I haven't read through this yet, but it says of the threats against Anita at Utah that "The threat did not contain a reference to [GG]". I thought that she tweeted that one of them did associate with GG..?

I like the AV Club but their tv rewatches/reviews are shit - they just describe at length what happened in the episode then stick a load of quotes from it under the heading "Random Observations", and that's it.

I watched the first six episodes a while ago, and just watched PK Tech Girl. I think I'll stick to Danielle's skip list because while there are lots of interesting ideas being thrown around, it's a bit of a brash, loud mess at the moment. Not very sophisticated or sharp. I did like the conversation between John and Aeryn, although it was ruined a little by the Sad Music blaring over it. EDIT: I don't have anything against goofiness either - not everything has to be BSG - as long as it's well done.
