Good job, TychoC. I mean that in an entirely subjective fashion. -
Idle Explorers (Spelunky, um, thumbs)

Oh man, I saw that coming, you were taking so much time in the dark level. Speed is of the essence, especially there! -
Tabacco's legendary prowess in this shit is beautifully spent on forums. He could've also been a Wallstreet billionnaire at this point, devising complicated financial products, but he chooses Thumbs.

I continue to be hugely disappointed by the clusterfuck which is the Mass Effect franchise on Steam. You can get the first game with the DLC, and the second game without the DLC, but not the third. Also you need an account on the Bioware system for it, apparently? I hate this. Look, it's so simple. I want a package containing three games with all of the DLC released, and I am willing to pay more than the average sale amount for that. But since I can't, I have only a resounding «fuck you» to offer them for making this so convoluted and impossible to obtain. I'd rather not play the game than have an incomplete version that I'm forced to jump through hoops to play.

I used to run with this dude all the time, because he has the most contented look on his face. It's like no matter how badly you screw up, he's having a good time. He doesn't judge you for being imperfect. But then I unlocked this character, and she's just awesome, so she's my main now.

Jesus, fuck. I had to flip back a page just to be disappointed.

Hang in there, man! In prevention, does it help to drink plenty of water?

In the swiftness of reading, I read "my brother's wife gave birth to his mom." So I've got that going for me which is nice.

Path of Exile: It's pretty much a Diablo 2 sequel, but it's not Diablo 3!
Roderick replied to Niyeaux's topic in Video Gaming
Well, then I stand corrected, sir. I thought I'd read somewhere it was bad. The GBA (!!!) game was apparently atrocious. Van Helsing had a GBA game. And now a 2013 Diablo 3 clone. How did this happen. -

Focus on nutrients from the phlegm category, and ensure you ingest additional yellow bile foodstuffs. Also homeopathy.

Yeah, we all know the incredible lure of anything connected to the superlative Van Helsing IP. -
What a bizarre tale! Sounds like you got caught in some weird jurisdictional wheel for no reason, couldn't stop it and now have to do some random task as a penalty. Baffling world we live in.

To protect ourselves and the goodwill of this thread, I propose that a ) No one posts keys out in the open, rather announce it here and then use the PM method to distribute. Even if this seems a hassle, posting open keys only invites leeches. b ) People who register here purely to absorb free games, spare yourself the effort. This requires some tenacity from our part: even if no one of the regulars wants your keys, don't distribute them to random people. A one-time act of kindness will spoil the whole operation and flood the system.

I had the best time with my siblings' kids coming over for christmas today. The eldest (2) kept calling out for me and then gave me these terrific, super long hugs. It was sweet. And christmassy!

WHY DID NO ONE TELL ME CHRISTMAS STARTED TODAY? I thought it was tomorrow, but the eve thing it this actual evening. Hapy holydays!

Having just read the Hulk article on World's End, I appreciate the underlying themes more, but am still not convinced this makes it a better movie. There was always going to be a thrumming engine underneath of ideas and themes, but that doesn't mean the film manages to capture it for the audience as well as the earlier two did. But repeat viewings might prove me wrong.

I finally saw The World's End and was mildly disappointed. Good laughs all around, but nowhere near the smart genre deconstruction and knowing writing as Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz. A good comedy as it is, but not worthy of the Cornetto trilogy.

Use those video game skills you've been building up over years to surreptitiously strafe into the ladies' room, wash your hands and ninja your way out. This is what you've been training for!

Idle Explorers (Spelunky, um, thumbs)

I booted up Spelunky on a lark again, and I effing did it! Well, not beat the game, but I brought the key to the mines to the tunnel man at the end of the ice caves! That's incredibly useless since the temple is so ludicrously dangerous is you arrive butt naked, but it's still an accomplishment. -
WELCOME TO 2010, ERKKI. GOD!!! YOU'RE ALWAYS DOING THIS
