PS3 to "KILL PC" also: it's not expensive enough.
nsps replied to General Fuzzy McBitty's topic in Video Gaming
No, they haven't. And that's part of the reason I laughed at Kenny K's Apple comment—Apple has been turning away from the premium-pricing strategy in the name of market share. Sony might see themselves making a console too cheap, but everyone else will just see the most expensive of three consoles. -
Well, I came up with the name Wario's Moonshine Mansion (derived from Mario Sunshine and Luigi's Mansion) before conceiving the game itself. I was thinking, however, that he could use molotov cocktails for bombs. If anyone from Nintendo is reading, feel free to send a development team and wads of cash to my house.

I only like the idea if it's announced after Waluigi's Moonshine Mansion. Think about it: Waluigi goes back in time to the prohibition era and starts his own illegal distillery in a giant mansion, complete with secret passageways, hiding places and a giant speakeasy. Hot on his tail, however, are two cops who happen to be Italian immigrants from a family of plumbers. Meanwhile, he's facing heat from his top competitor, Al Wapone.

Yeah, I knew you were cracking wise, I was just making fun of KK. I also hope that all of the consoles are somewhat successful, as competition encourages innovation. But I'd still like to see Sony get the shit kicked out of them. -

Didn't anyone get the memo that Apple's products are affordably priced—some might even say obliterating comparably priced ones on the design and software front—now? http://www.codinghorror.com/blog/archives/000591.html -
I fourth the call for   Plus, he should get his own game on the Wii: "Waluigi's Moonshine Mansion" or something.

What was your most embarrassing moments/embarrassing monets you caused others?
nsps replied to Mikopsych's topic in Idle Banter
I once pantsed a girl, but it turned out to be a more embarrassing moment for me than it was for her. You see, the cops showed up. Something about it being against the law just because she was 16 and I was 39. -
That's just your opinion, WHONK!

I'm pretty sure he jumped once or twice, for the sake of variety.
-
Yeah, it's a great film. Saw it at its Sundance premier. Also, Tommy B, many other animals besides humans would die as a result of climate change.

I just think it looks boring—the races on sonic 3 (I think, could be two) were much more interesting. Here, it just seems to be a loop, a spring, the occasional barrier.

They don't? Who does, Telltale? I assumed that they maintained the original game, if not the franchise. I'm probably going to get a DS Lite soon (US release in a couple weeks), so I need to figure out what the simplest and/or cheapest route is to get this thing running. The screen turned blue on my sister's DS, so I guess it's version 2, but I obviously want something that will work when I get a Lite.

Let us know if you have any better luck with it.

Ah, yes. I suppose that explains why I didn't mention them until much later, when I was trying to think of stuff I played that hadn't been mentioned and forgot what the point of the thread was. (I guess that since I didn't reread it, I was just thinking "essential classic GB games.) Wow am I stupid. My apologies. Please pretend that I only mentioned Motocross Maniacs and Dexterity. Also, I never played the Metroid for GB, but I sympathize with Tommy Gun's experience based on the NES version (which I'm playing now).
-
Maybe LucasArts should release Adventure Classics for the DS, save people the trouble of all this (and maybe even make the text slightly bigger for whoever complained in the gameboy thread).
-
Hey, uh, I just realized that no one has mentioned Super Mario Land, which was from the first wave of GB games. Based on what I remember from 15 years ago, it presented some interesting levels in the mario side-scrolling format. And wasn't there a game called Tretsi or something? Also, if everyone would be so kind as to post their comments about SCUMM VM DS here: http://forums.idlethumbs.net/showthread.php?t=4149 Then when I'm ready to try it myself, I'll be able to find all the info in one place.

Whatever happened to the guy with the fan-made Monkey Island game?

This topic was created in seriousness? I really can't tell if this is a joke or truly censored. Once again: -
His/her post, our thread or the fact that normally his/her threads don't receive replies?
-
I have no idea what is going on.
-
Yeah, I was going to mention that, too. There was a puzzle game called Dexterity that was rather fun.
-
I played Motocross Maniacs more than any of my other games. Good times.
-
Onion rings would make more sense.

By playing Super Princess Peach?

Yeah, hermes and Ginger nailed the reason I thought that they'd have to lower the price: Many people plan to sell a game after owning it for a little while, especially if they aren't that wild about it. But you say it's definitely not happening?
